Initially when they performed all the work this last May, they were on time, notified me ahead of time and completed the project early.

Then in June, I had to call them back because the hot water recirculation pump they installed on my water heater was leaking. They came out the same day I called and fixed it. I told them at that time that when the hot water is idle for several hours and then you turn it on the recirculation pump makes a noise so loud I can hear it inside the house (water heater is in garage).

Today I called them because the moisture sensor that was installed in the lawn to save water by eliminating unnecessary watering was not functioning properly. The red light is on on the system and the sprinklers should not have come on but they did. Also when I looked under the kitchen sink where they installed a sensor valve; there is water leaking from the hot water hose. They still have not contacted me about coming out to fix the problems. I don't think SMUD and PG&E should continue to use them due to shoddy work.

I would like to add that after 4 years the insulation they installed under my house has started to fall down and makes access under the house for termite inspection impossible, but I doubt that after this length of time they would do anything to fix the problem. I guess when I can afford it, I will have to have all the insulation removed.

If this company comes knocking on your door -- send them packing. They had good online reviews, no complaints with CSLB or BBB when I first signed on with them near the beginning of the year. I'm guessing that all has changed in the past few months as this company has been unable to deliver on any level of satisfactory customer service in my case and I suspect many others, as well.

Energy Resolution is inept in customer service, lacks communication skills, and is unable to schedule subcontractors at appointed times. My short project has been cursed with a PM who has failed to notify me of the date contractors were arriving; failed to have them show on a date we agreed upon (twice) and has provided less than truthful explanations for the incompetence. At least two stories later we settled on another date and time for the work to be performed.

In the most recent round, the subcontractors arrived 6 hours late and were unable to complete the job so the only confidence I have at this point is that several more days will be wasted waiting for someone to show up for an appointment that never got on the books.

They installed my solar panels and updated my H/VAC infrastructure. While there were a couple of minor hiccups during the process they were always ready to find resolution. I have already recommended them to several people.

Energy Resolutions has performed Home Performance upgrades-HVAC ducts and insulation on two homes of ours. As well they have installed two solar systems for us. We have had nothing but excellent experience with the products!
