Marco was prompt, efficient and got my system temporarily working while waiting for the part to come in. The repair is complete and A and R is now my “go to” company for any future heating and air needs. They have my highest recommendation. Thanks A and R!

Caveat emptor
I called A&R for our 20 yr old furnace's intermittent issue. In the end the only result of the visit ($95) was to sell me the idea of a new furnace ($7k!). I was told a couple of shocking untruths, e.g. "oh this model has recall, reported fires" (searched that, could not find it), "inducer fan is noisy, probably damaged creating pressure issue, replacing this *unique, special order* part will cost $900 + labor $1k (I found exactly the part for On the bright side, however, was that the conversation with the tech helped with learning the way around the furnace, interpreting error lights, what parts were what, etc. Anf he did electrical tape up a broken drain tubing port, which was of some help. In the end the fan is ok (yeah, maybe noisy) and I have solved the issue for now myself with simple fix of the condensate drain tubing line (from online suggestion) which had grown dirty and tubing kinked. The backed up water was creating pressure errors, so the furnace would cycle, turning off then restarting over and over.

I had this company to helped us repair our heating furnace Trane and air conditioning in Atherton California, the service technitian was able to check all system and recomend us how to set the thermostat control to save the unit and energy.
At the same time, they balance the air dumpers under the house that was not letting enough air to the back of my house.

Called into get a repair on Amana PTAC provided model # issue to office. Mario canceled on 1st appointment then rescheduled 2nd appointment and finally arrived on 3rd appointment to tell me they do not handle Amana and proceeds to leave shoe covers I provided him to enter my home on my floor after asking if he would give us any recommendations. Rude, Unprofessional, get it together.

My experience with A & R Air Conditioning and Heating was very good. They delivered prompt service and they were able to fix my heating issue with minimal delay.

Scheduled an appointment but never showed up, never called, never returned my call. Shady. I won't give them another chance to touch my AC unit.
