I just had my central A/C installed by York Appliances & HVACR and couldn’t be any happier. My house is ice cold now after installing a 3 1/2 ton system. My wife came home and said “how do I turn it off it’s too cold!”lol They were punctual and very friendly. I would definitely recommend there services to others.

i told them in advance what was happening with the dryer! well things happen and called them again still think they a great business - fair pricing and had my parts on the truck - in and out in 1 hour - fixed the issue :)

They just installed a 3 ton HVAC system. They came out to my house, clearly explained what they would recommend for my house, and came out when they said they would do it, and completed the job on schedule. The crew worked with me to place the fan in a location in the yard that was out of the way from the garden, and not next to the master bedroom. Their install of the system under the house was clean, organized, and explained clearly to me. Now the 100 yr old house has joined the 21st century with cold air and heat, all electrically powered. Great thermostat too. Peace of mind and comfort! Thank you!

Fernando and his team are fantastic. We recently moved into an older home that never had central air. York installed ducting and HVAC throughout the house. Like most old homes there are unique spaces that prove challenging when installing modern systems. Yet despite that, Fernando and his team installed a system that works perfectly! Throughout the process York was professional and constantly communicating with us. We are very happy and appreciate the quality service York provided. Highly recommend them.

Be very careful with this company. In prior years they had great service and the technicians were awesome. Lately I’ve had to switch to a different company. It’s very sad because I was a loyal customer but the last two visits they have sent Fernando and he is not very professional. He tried to overcharge for a new thermostat that he said I ‘needed’. He did not install it correctly and the original problem continued to be a problem. Then when I called back to have them fix the issue, he was not responsive and wanted to force me to pay a ‘balance’ before he would come out. Very suspicious. I hope they figure this out because otherwise they will continue to lose loyal customers.

My A/C broke during crazy heat wave a couple weeks ago. York Appliances were responsive, prompt, efficient, and incredibly reasonable on price. I hope nothing ever breaks again but I'll know who to call when it does!

Fernando came out and fixed our central air unit. It was almost 100 degrees out and he came right away and took care of us in under an hour. We were so relieved and impressed with his service. If you’re in or around Highland Park, you found the right place.

Excellent experience with York Appliances. They installed new Central Heating/Air complete with new ducts and wiring. Quality work at a fair price and job was completed in decent time.
Fernando managed the job and was professional and took time to explain the process. He's knowledgable and honest.

If I could give them more stars,I would! My husband and I have been looking for a company that doesn't over charge us for repairs. It seems as if my whole neighborhood knew about this company besides my husband and I(We just moved into the neighborhood). One of my neighbors recommened them,said they have great service and try to work with your schedule. I decided to give them a shot. The moment my husband called the owner was extremely nice and told us he can send a technician right away. As soon as one of the techs came he instantly started to repair my dryer and finished in less than an hour. He kept repeating if i needed anything else and told my husband and I,"We're gonna do everything we possibly can to make you happy". I thought that was sweet. A year later I needed to buy a new refrigerator. I went to the office and as soon as I stepped into the office the owner came out to assist me with all the questions I had. I purchased the refrigerator and they didn't charge me for delivery and delivered my refrigerator that same day! I was happy with the service and I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Had central air put in on my 1901 home that has never had any type of air system other than opening up my windows. At first I shelved this for a year because I was shopping around but finally pulled the trigger this Spring with York Appliance.
I'm so glad I went with these folks. The explanation on the service and products was thorough and kept in on the loop the entire way. They were professional, clean, and met their 3 day deadline. Any questions I had after the fact were quickly answered.
