Our AC had some weird air flow issues - it would blow cold freezing air and suddenly hot air & every room was a different temperature. We had previously, reached out to 2 other technicians but they weren’t able to fix our problem, we were ready to accept we were going to melt this summer! But, third time is the charm :) we reached out to CaliTek and Mario was over within the hour! He was able to fix our AC the SAME DAY! He was very friendly, responsive and best part? He and his crew cleaned up after themselves! It was like they were never here - no random parts or mess left behind :) this made me happy.

He followed up 2 weeks after and our AC is working perfectly! Thanks, Mario - you saved our summer!

We contacted Mario this morning and he Forwarded Our request for service to Robert.

Mario was prompt in communicating that Robert will be contacting us later Somewhere in the vicinity of 12 and 2 PM the same day.

Somewhere after 12pm Robert had texted us that he was 15 minutes out from arriving.
Most companies apparently are using automated systems to impress upon a sense of accountability….

Mario made it clear that there is an $89 service fee however will be inducted and liquidated into the subsequent services rendered for the work call. The guy before this guy charged $125 for showing up, so we took this one…

Robert took less than four minutes to address and identify our issue. MIND YOU: It was a simple quick fix where a manual light switch which was off and was affecting the coolant apparatus of the unit. Fixed.
He also verbally stated that he’ll go out of his way to maintain the other units we had but that was completely on his word..

As a result of the experience working with Robert, we felt confident To offer him more jobs in and around the Pasadena area with family and friend who need help during the heat wave - However the strangest thing is that he never returned a single text or phone call. It has been two weeks.
We offer more potential revenue for this company and Robert along with the original owner Mario has not even gotten back to us on future jobs.

In the end the issue was a quick fix so it’s very hard to identify if they are technically proficient per se and seeing the absent responses with having customers go out of their way to offer them work and to no response : It’s a big red flag.

If they can’t simply return a call in making more money; who is to say they’ll return YOUR call if there was a problem with their accountability in workmanship?
