Ambient Heating and Air

Had Ambient come out and install new A/C in our mobilehome the guys were terrific and did an amazing job it's wonderful now that on hot days we can enjoy our nice cool house. The day after installation received a follow up call wanting to know if everything was going ok. These guys are the best and would recommend them to anyone.

I chose to use this company because they were available to help me out on a Friday very cold night. Long story short we needed a new HVAC system. Because they were so helpful we went with them to install a new even to them system.

We chose to install a mini split system. It took longer than they expected to install. The tech installed the system incorrectly, they blew out several circuit boards. From day one the system never worked right. One of the techs even stepped through my attic into my garage. I was always having problems, one of the units would constantly ice over. This issue was later traced back to a mother board failure caused by improper installation. When it would melt the water would run down the wall and make a mess. Later I found out that these freeze/thaw cycles stressed out the condensation pumps. This caused premature pump failure. And I had to foot the bill. In three years I spent thousands of dollars for them to “fix” the system. After the warranty ran out, every problem I had with the system I had to pay for, and every issue they blamed me. And to add insult to injury I had to constantly call them to order the parts, schedule appointments to do the work. No other company would touch the system, I was stuck. I am so happy I sold that house. I’m so relieved I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

Our air conditioning went out on the hottest weekend of the year (Labor Day 2017). Jenny answered my call at 9:30pm on Friday evening and scheduled a technician to come on Saturday. Our technician, Sonny, showed up exactly on time and what a relief! He got right to work and had our unit up and running very quickly - he knew his stuff! Thank you Ambient!!! Your staff was helpful, efficient and a pleasure. I will not go anywhere else for my heating and air needs and would happily recommend them.
