Meanley & Son Hardware

Great people who know their store very well. Very friendly and personable. I was short about $1.50 on supplies I needed on a UCSD tile restoration job. When the owner(?) heard I was short on the total purchase, she immediately gave me a 10% discount, allowing me to get everything I needed. That alone earned my La Jolla hardware supplies business loyalty. Thank you... Jennie from SaniGLAZE.

I called them at 4:47pm asking if they perform a price match with other local stores.

The person started going off on a tangent where they started talking about people photo-shopping images on their phone.

He then slammed the phone down on the counter and I can audibly hear it as it hurt my ear.

Then a second person answered and they were even more aggressive than the first person.

No longer my go-to-store. Thumbs down big time.

Cute and quaint. Otherwise, though, not much help. Too small to have what I needed, though to be fair, they do pack an awful lot into that tiny store

I did not buy anything but this place has lots of items beyond hardware. Employees were friendly.

Wonderful store, well stocked and they've got pretty much anything you need for home improvement.

This place is the best. It is truly a neighborhood hardware store. Even though it's an Ace hardware this place is actually been in la Jolla forever. They have everything. You would be surprised what you can find there. It's right in down the street in La Jolla, so you don't have to drive all the way to Home Depot to get what you need. Right in the heart of the village on Girard avenue.. Highly recommended five stars
