UEI College - Huntington Park

Hello, I am a Medical Assistant so far I have really been enjoying my experience. The hands on training is what really makes it better and easier to learn!

i am a medical assistant here at the Huntington park campus. My experience here overall has been great !! My instructor and the staff have been very helpful and accommodating.

Tania was a very a good speaker today and really went down in detail on what is expected or what will be asked at a interview and what to be said very straight forward

Tania from career services did a good job on explain the different questions a company may ask for the hiring process, also she gave out multiple examples on how each question should be answered.

My experience at this school has been great, staff are very helpful. Recommend coming here.

I always found it funny how backlash this school received...

It's honestly not "the best" but a lot of it is what you make from it. I graduated in 2020 after dropping from a four year university. I needed something fast and to the point and as much as I hated finding myself applying to this school and being surrounded by a "certain atmosphere" it actually ended up being a really good choice and fit for me. I ended up getting hired at my externship site and moved on to a better job with much better pay, a year later.

I think a lot of times we are not willing to "start from the bottom" which is where people's disappointments come from, but we all have to start somewhere. Like I said, unfortunately a lot of it is what YOU make of it. I don't agree with the tactics used by this school and the way they hound students to join if they are undecided. A lot of people are pressured or told to apply to student loans without fully understanding what they are signing up for. Thankfully I was not one of those people but I have heard some really bad stories. What a lot of people fail to realize is that that is exactly how these schools receive funding so their tactics are designed that way.

Overall, you always have to explore your options first. Look into community college and other vocational schools. But if you're looking for a fast route then this is definitely a good school. There are so many clinics surrounding the area and the support is there if you need it. Thank you

Im a student in the Medical Assistant proggram at UEI huntington park its a good school with alot of information and they help you alot with any questions you have in your program

My experience in UEI has been awesome. Everyone is willing too help!! All departaments do there part as a student i do My part!!

The staff is great, very helpful, but et instructors could be better. Et instructor left the first month and we barely do anything.
