They put a new system in my house and it worked ok for about 6-7 years and then it went out during the hot summer. When I called him he came out to check the unit and called me to ask where I got this outdated piece of crap. I told him he put it in and he said he did not. I told him I had the receipts from him and he said no way. I asked how we would have to fix it and he said you couldn't and would need a new system. I eventually had another company do the new work and found out that he hold told me he was going to wrap the vents in the attic since I only had heat prior and this way they would transmit the cold air. The new company replaced the vents that did not have any cover on them. I was told the attic was colder than my house.

The result, another $6000.00 for the new system which works great and did use insulated vents and duct work.

This was a friend of the family. Nothing worst then getting screwed by a friend.
