After making an appt for them to come out to give me an estimate on my ac repair, I looked at the Yelp reviews and noticed that recently someone was charged 99 dollars for a service fee. Monica told me 129.00 on the phone. I called her back to let her know that her company had charged 99 to another customer, and I asked her why she was charging me 129.00. She told me it was for gas and other costs. She declined to match the service fee so I declined their business. I only live 3.2 miles from their office.
So we called this company on Monday and spoke to Monica. We scheduled a appointment for today 5/17/21. She told us that it's a $99 service charge to cone put and run a diagnostic and get a tech out here. I then asked her if that $99 fee would be applied towards any work that gets done and she said yes so just to be sure I said So if the charge is 200 for the work I get done the $99 is applied towards the 200 and the balance is $101 and she said yes. So today the tech came out and told us it's $224 for the recharge plus the $99 fee but rounded it off to $300. At this point I feel like I received conflicting information from Monica and the tech. We called Monica back to see why that is and now she's saying because I have to pay for the techs time and labor which was never told to us by Monica untill after the tech was done. I let her talk and explain but when it came time for her to listen to my explanation of the information she herself told us not matching up to the previous day and to whats happening now she started yelling on the phone told me to be quiet and would not let me talk at all. My wife got the phone to speak to her she continued with her attitude and then when my wife asked to speak to the owner or someone above her she said and i quote "you are talking to her baby" referring to herself as the owner. Then she threatened us by saying she was gonna have them tag our equipment. What i understood from that is she was gonna mess with our stuff because we didnt agree with her. Even the tech which i dont want to name because it wasnt his fault was shocked at the way she was talking. I don't think this is something anyone should deal with as a customer.
They were good don't get me wrong. I just feel that people can always improve. The came and gave me a cost of repairing my heater and the price was very good. I went with them because I felt that I could trust Robert. Good things all around.
The Best AC Company Ever! I got a new system about 5 years ago with someone else and it was a lemon. Cool City came out and eve though they did not install it they are able to do the warranty for it. The come right away and they know what the issue is right away and fix it! Amazing!!!

I waited another hour and still no technician. I called back again and recieved voicemail again. No call back and no technician. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
I love Cool City! I was freezing because my heating was not working. They came out that day and I was warm all night! Totally reasonable pricing but would of paid more.
Professional great price clean and responsive… They come in and out so quick I’m not even sure if they’re here… I would just say let me know when you’re leaving, but all is Great
