Daniel assessed my need for a new furnace with add-on AC. His price was fair, his work excellent, and his timing efficient. He made the brilliant suggestion to move the HVAC to the attic space, leaving me with a fabulous new linen closet where the old furnace had been. I have been so happy with my new cool comfort in the summer and warmth in the winter, plus the added bonus of a great closet!

Dan is very responsive to phone calls, reasonable priced and friendly. In addition to repairing our AC, last winter the heater was making a noise for a while and we were going to have houseguests for half a month and were afraid it will stop working when the guests are here. Dan came and checked the heater and said it will still work and he has noted the part that would be needed in the event it stops working. He only charged me half the price for checking out the problem. He also installed 2 wall heaters for my rental.

Dan came out and assessed our problem with our AC and heating units that we had had over 30 years. After a thorough discussion of what we needed to do he replaced both the AC and heating units. Dan determined we needed a smaller AC unit than we had discussed so made that change and credited our account accordingly. He worked tirelessly in some of the hottest weather we had at that time in the attic and outside. He was respectful of our light carpets and home and kept me informed of what he would be doing that particular day being either inside our home or out. He also replaced some vents around the house. He arrived clean on time ready to work with a friendly smile. I can't say enough good things about Dan and South Bay Heating and Cooling. I had 2 projects with South Bay Heating & Cooling. For both of them, the work was done on time with high quality. The first project was to fix the duct connected to the vents to make sure efficient cold/hot air flow in the house. the second project was to install a duct system solution to reduce the noise level when the furnace is running, the noise level was reduced by 15 dBL which more than half. Dan is very professional and has high communication skills to make sure the customer is aware of the progress and satisfied with the final work. I strongly recommend him.

My AC and furnace were both over 20 years old. Dan's company came out and removed the old duct work and furnace, moved the furnace to the attic and moved some of the vent outlets. They replaced my AC and furnace units and installed a Nest thermostat. They covered my hardwood floors and vacuumed and swept up all the debris. Dan made sure all the vents were operating properly for hot and cold. Excellent service! I have the company come out every year to do a maintenance check.

Dan did a great job replacing our furnace and registers. He was very methodical and thorough with the installation. It was completed in a reasonable time. I have and do recommend South Bay.
