We reached out to a few companies, as we were pricing out a furnace replacement, for a sanity check; we had stuck to one company but found that their quote seemed to double each time we spoke. I found Ortiz Heating and Air Conditioning through Carrier's preferred installers (we wanted the Carrier Infinity 96 efficiency), and was so glad to have connected with them! Alex (owner) was honest and knowledgeable. We were looking to solve a problem with a basement space with no heating element, that would only require heat occasionally; companies were either telling us it was an impossible scenario or possible, but for an astronomical price. Alex suggested a work around, which we were a bit weary of at first, but now, after the installation, we are absolutely in love with what it does. We now have heat in the entire house!! Alex answers questions promptly, even anxious questions that come late in the evening! His staff are helpful and courteous! He's definitely our go to guy in all things hvac! Thank you, Alex!

From my first meeting with Alex, I noticed that he took the time to understand my needs and carefully explain the different options. He was very honest about pricing, lead times for equipment, and what I could expect with the HVAC system I had decided on. My backyard has an interesting layout, so we put the condenser in a non-standard location. This required another contractor to dig a trench and install a concrete pad. Alex made multiple trips to my house to ensure that this work was done in a way that would meet all safety, operational requirements and city inspection standards. While waiting for parts to arrive, I got regular updates. While installing the system itself, the entire team was friendly, professional, and as a bonus kept the house clean! Finally, the team kept in close touch with me afterwards to make sure everything was set up and working perfectly.
