I have bought industrial supplies from Grainger for over two decades. They have a decent selection of items in stock, and they can bring almost everything you might need to the local Easton location or they will ship to your yard/shop, where ever you need supplies.

About five years ago money got a bit tighter than it had been. I needed a photo electric "eye" (switch). Grainger could get me one for $360. I asked them if they would let me get two for $600. They hemmed and hawed,
and I went out and found the same photo electric switch in Texas for $180. Needless to say I ordered two they were here overnight (just like Grainger's, but for 1/2 the price.) So I started comparing prices. Metal banding mater that Grainger charges $48 for I found for $29, free shipping it is here the next day. I could go on and on...

Bottom line is, they have a very hefty mark up, and Almost everything I have priced can be had for at least 25 to 30 per cent less. Some things are almost double the price at Grainger like the switches above.

This place is a such a waste of time. I ordered some stuff here , they asked me to come pick it up on Friday. I went in on Friday and my items were not there as promised.
