    I have done business many times over the years with Econo Air and have always been pleased. They are big ticket items and are not the cheapest in town, but over the years the quality shows - no problem with the product sold, and are always helpful with any questions or concerns even silly ones!

    Service truck was parked in driveway w/o seeking permission. Service truck has an oil leak. Driveway stained.
    Otherwise install crew executed their work while taking care not to soil or damage anything. They were efficient, explained what was going to be done and did a good job of orienting us regarding the use of our fireplace insert.

    I parked in front of the store and got out of my car holding my glass fireplace doors. An employee had just parked his car and was walking toward the store. "Ma'am....Ma'am.....we don't sell glass!" I heard. I turned around and said I didn't need glass. "Well, we don't sell doors."
    The guy never took the time to ask me why I was there or what I needed. I asked "Do you even know what I want? I just need the little spacers that hold the glass into the frame". He immediately fired back, "Well, I'd have to know the manufacturer and the model number before I could determine if we EVEN have ACCESS to that part." Little did he know I had that information in my little pea brain (ha!). He obviously didn't want to help. I grabbed the frame out of his hand and said, "You are very abrupt! Even if I need a whole new unit, I won't be buying it here!" and I drove away. The guy was rude...never said hello, how can I help you? Never asked what I needed. He just made incorrect ASSumptions! Don't go here. There customer service is awful!

    Been a customer of Econo Air for many years, not anymore. There is nothing economic about them, they are too expensive and over priced. Charged me way too much for a part and install. Going to give their competitors a try for any future repairs. Shame.

    Replaced my entire HVAC system 3 years ago.The first 2 years they always went the extra mile. Now I can't get them to service this unit because their tech calls in sick. Had made appt. over 2 weeks in advance. Now I have to wait 3 more weeks.
    Keep this in mind when considering.

    Way Over priced, poor service, no call back $47.88 for sheet metal adapter for stove pipe compared to $18.00 at local hardware store. Did not return phone calls or call to let me know part was in. Will not do business with ECONO-AIR in Bakersfield in the future.

    Had an appointment from 8-12. We call receptionist at 12:15 she says talked to person should be there 20 to 30 minutes. Obviously they are at lunch. Can't blame them for wanting to eat butyou can't call. No morning call to say where you are at in rotation. It is obvious that this company don't care about time except for there own. Save yourself the trouble use someone else.

    My husband and I are shopping for a gas insert. We have been there twice now and stand being completely ignored for a half hour before we give up and leave. When the only thing they say to you is to move out of their way. Not only is it bad customer service but it’s RUDE! They’ve lost our business. We will go somewhere that at least they Acknowledge you’ve walked through the door.

    Econo-Aire is highly recommended for air conditioning, heating, fireplaces, fireplace inserts and outdoor kitchens. They have a very nice showroom at the Union Avenue location.
