Durham Service Company

Durham Service Company is simply a wonderful company to work with and the results for us have been nothing but great. Three years ago they piped the house for natural gas, hooking up our fireplace, kitchen range and laundry dryer but also preparing us for the future by installing additional bibs for HVAC and water heater. Finally this summer, after a $475 HSV Utility bill, we realized it was probably time for our 20-year-old HVAC system to go. Based on the great job the did the first time, we called Durham again to install a new HVAC system with gas heat and updated (more efficient) AC. They had us at 10 year financing to complement the 10 year York warranty. After Day One of the project we had AC by bedtime and at the end of Day Two it was joined by Gas Heat.

We want to give multiple shout outs here - first to Keith our initial poInt of contact and guide both times (Sales Guy just doesn't do him justice) and then to Ryan with his great team including Phillip, Alex and Spencer. The obvious care they took to do it right and make sure before they left that we were happy and understood exactly how to control the new system was much noted and appreciated. They left the place cleaner than they found it and then the next day filed all the necessary paperwork with HSV Utilities to get us the special rebate for conversion to gas heat. That's certainly our idea of Customer Service.

This was an HVAC maintenance service call. I was very happy with Johnathan Dake, he immediately spotted a problem 3 previous service technicians had missed from other companies.

This is the second time we have used Durham Heating and Cooling and we could not be more pleased. They were honest and told us of a repair we could make to our HVAC as opposed to replacing the whole unit. (We did replace to upgrade to an inverter system) Ryan, Phillip and Chris came and did the installation. They we professional, friendly, informative and kept me updated along the way. The system runs great. This is just a superior company to work with!

The service guy was very knowledgeable, and professional. Got us taken care of and up and running in less than an hour! Definitely recommend.

I have a geothermal heating and cooling system in my home and have depended on this company to keep it in good working order for a number of years. Johnathan never fails to solve my problem and find a solution, Ryan was here today to replace a pump in the well and it was obvious he was comfortable with the details of the geo system. Spencer is responsive and seems to work miracles with the scheduling and service. I am most satisfied with the work from this group.

We had an issue with one of our AC units and Durham Service Co made it a priority to get out to us right away and fix it. We are a dog boarding facility so having our AC unit working today was a must. The technician was quick, professional, and explained everything to me before he left. We can't say enough how much we appreciate having such a reliable service company!! We highly recommend them both for commercial and residential use (we have used them at our home in the past as well).

Central Air and Heat Repair. Called over the weekend and let the answering service I did not need anyone to come out until after the weekend. Someone called me back that day from the company saying someone would call me on Monday. First thing Monday, I received a call and the technician was out at my house at 0830 for a quick and professional repair.

I've done business with Durham for the past decade. They are always professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. They most recently worked on my HVAC unit and responded on Friday night well after office hours. They are truly concerned about their customers and do their best to accommodate. My next unit will definitely come from Durham!!
