    After determining that our furnace was completely shot and we would need to get a new one, I got estimates from four different local heating/cooling companies, all chosen because of recommendations from friends. All of the estimates were free. We decided to go with Zig's for 3 main reasons: 1) he had the best price, 2) he was the most personable and was able to explain clearly explain what all my options were but without being condescending, 3) knowing we had no heat for several days and that temperatures were about to drop, he went out of his way to fit us in the next day. All the other companies said they could maybe get to me several days from when they gave me the estimate.

    Our furnace and new thermostat (he hooked us up with a touch-screen, wifi-enabled one!) were installed yesterday. Their employees were very professional and helpful as well as friendly. I could not be happier with the service we received from Zig's heating and cooling and highly recommend them!

    Our furnace went out on Christmas Eve night. Luckily my husband was able to get it up and running over the holiday. We then contacted Zig, who had originally installed our furnace and he came out promptly. He worked with us and got our furnace repaired, despite some hiccups with the manufacturer and warranteed everything. We were so impressed with his integrity and his tenacity. We are so happy to be his customers. I will tell everyone I know that working with Zig is a great thing.

    I needed to replace my existing AC unit so I called all over town and received quotes between $2600-$3500. Then I called Zigs and I got the best quote after a little negotiating. Zigs crew showed up the next day on time as promised and did an excellent job installing my new AC unit. They explained everything to me and were very professional. I'll definitely recommend Zigs to my friends/family.

    The guy was very professional came in the same day didn’t charge us to come out and look, fixed the issue and was done within an hour the first guy elsewhere told us we had to replace the whole furnace for $3000 and Zig came in there and fixed the job within an hour amazing work.

    Zig's was great to work with. They came out to do a tune-up and crossed one of the wires while doing it. That left us with a furnace that wouldn't turn off. Sounds bad, right?

    Where they really impressed me from a customer service standpoint, was the next morning. Zig came out on a Saturday, free of charge, to correct the mistake. We now have a solid furnace ready for the winter! I would highly recommend using them for any HVAC maintenance. It's hard to find this level of service nowadays.

    Avoid this company at all costs! He installed our furnace, air exchanger, air conditioner and venting all incorrectly. We've lived in our house for 7 months and have had things fixed at least 5 times already by another company. Our air still doesn't work. He installed the dryer vent incorrectly and we were told we were lucky our house didn't start on fire. Our furnace had a gas leak. Those were just two things that could have killed our family. The furnace and air exchanger have leaked all over the basement. We can't tell how he did the duct work but rooms don't heat and cool correctly. I could go on, but hope you get the idea and don't ever hire this company. I wish I could do zero stars.

    No call no show to appointment. Furnace broke down (which Zigg installed), said he would come and despite two follow up calls to verify he would indeed be coming he never showed. Had to deal with a cold house and furnace not working while I called another company to come out and fix it.

    Absolutely horrible customer service. My husband called on a Friday afternoon and was told that someone would be out that same day to repair our air conditioner. Not only did he not show up, he failed to show the common courtesy of a phone call. My husband stayed in all afternoon / early evening waiting around for a repairman. The following Wednesday, we called again and were told that the repairman "got sidetracked' and they would send someone out on Wednesday. AGAIN, no one showed up or called. Friday was more of the same. After multiple calls and broken promises, we decided to go with another company.

    Zig did a new furnace install for me with new ducting as well as repiped an entire boiler system. As an investor I couldn't have asked for a better HVAC company and continue to use them. Pricing was great as well as follow through

    I've used Zigs for two separate jobs. If you want it cheap but don't mind playing lots of games he will eventually get it done, maybe. Couple of the guys on his crew are decent and seem to actually care about quality.

    I've had him promise to show up more than a handful of times then blown off. If you finally get ahold of him again, he'll have a new excuse. His word means absolutely nothing and he'll tell you what you want to hear. Customer service isn't something Zig understands at all. If you have extra cash I strongly urge you to go somewhere else but if you want it done cheap and don't mind waiting months and making lots and lots of angry phone calls, then he's your guy.
