We needed a new furnace but needed an immediate fix to keep our current furnace running until we could pick a new one. Ron came out immediately and kept our old furnace running ( as a prior service man could not) and helped us choose a great high efficiency furnace and a "smart" thermostat!
In the middle of nasty icy weather Weyers talented technicians came out and warmed our home with courtesy and efficiency. Ryan, very patiently showed us how to operate the Echo Bee (smart thermostat).
We never thought we'd be excited about a new furnace like we are!!

This is a review for a furnace we had installed by Weyer & Sons in October but waited until February to write the review.
I, like most people, tend to only give negative reviews whenever I encounter a problem. If everything is good I put it off until it does not mean anything to me anymore with the excuse that that is the way it is supposed to work. Well my experience with Weyer and Sons deserved a great review and I decided to get at it. I hate to give those knee jerk reviews that some people give immediately after the purchase. Preferring to give the product a little time to prove itself. That is the reason I waited four months to do this.

It started with my furnace not working properly and calling the company. They very promptly sent out a very friendly guy. He spent a while analyzing the furnace with me looking sceptically looking over his shoulder. Sadly he then showed me what was wrong and told me that my 20 year old furnace would not last much longer. He gave me a bid, with a better price that I expected, and we set up an appointment. The installers arrived on time, had the new furnace installed and cleaned up by the end of the day. No problems at all.

Now after having the new furnace for a few months I can say that my expectations have been exceeded. We have always had a room that was colder that the rest and the furnace has has totally changed that. Now all the rooms in our home are equally warm. After getting a couple of utility bills the gas cost where reduced as I expected but what I did not expect was the greater than $10/month reduction in the electric bill. This was during a time when we had record cold temps. (-20 F or colder.) and the furnace was definitely working very hard. I was told that this was because of some kind of high efficiency DC motor that the furnace uses to move the air and to expect a comparable savings from the air conditioner.

So in summary, the furnace did everything I was told it would do by Weyer and then some. The price was great and service was perfect. I strongly recommend them to anybody needing any service to there HVAC.

Ron was extremely helpful and responsive when it came to fixing my Aprilaire humidifier. I’ve now used him multiple times and am grateful for his service.
