    Our A/C was not putting out much cool air. Brian cleaned the compressor and adjusted some things and we are now getting much better performance from the unit. As it is nearly 40 years old, Brian recommended replacement. We plan to have that done next week.

    Had a mini split system installed in my nearly 100 year old house so that I no longer have to haul out 5 different window AC units every summer.

    I'm very happy with the service provided by High Tech Heating & A/C staff. They worked with me to determine how to handle the somewhat awkward room layout in my home in order to provide the best coverage for the number of units that I wanted to have installed, and helped figure out how best to run the line sets on the exterior of the house to get to the units.

    They also were happy to let me run my own electrical circuit in order to reduce the installation cost, which was great! I got several bids from different companies before starting the work and High Tech's bid was comparable but slightly lower than bids from the other companies I checked with.

    The installers were prompt and professional, and they made sure to run things past me before starting any particular piece of work. They were also considerate about not making a mess in the house. Overall the install took two days, which was impressive considering the age of the house and how much work was involved in getting all the pieces in place.

    As for the actual equipment, I'm very pleased with the Daikin hardware so far. The fans on both the interior units and exterior unit are impressively quiet and, while we aren't quite in the thick of the cooling season yet, I'm confident that these units will do a much better job that the haphazard mélange of window units that I've used over the past several years, and it will likely be cheaper overall since the mini split is much more energy efficient than those units.

    Plus, there's the added bonus of being able to use these units in heating, dehumidifying, and plain fan (for air filtering and circulation) modes in additional to cooling, so while it's not a cheap update to the house, there's a lot of bang for the buck with these units. The Daikin equipment also has a 12 year warranty so I'm covered in case anything goes wrong mechanically for quite some time.

    Overall, High Tech did a great job, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get some work done on the HVAC systems in their homes!

    I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get someone from this company to come out to my home and give me an estimate on a job. The first time I called, I was told that my request would be sent to the right area and someone would call me within a few days. A week went by with no contact. I called again to inquire about why I hadn't heard anything. The receptionist apologized and said she would send my request along again. I indicated that I don't answer my cell phone if I don't recognize the number so please ask them to leave a message if they don't get an answer when they call. She indicated that she would put a note on the order and that I should hear from someone within a couple of days. Another week went by with no contact. I'm done with High Tech. They obviously either don't need my business or have no regard for their customers....or both. Not only have they lost a potential customer but I will certainly be sharing my experience with other people who may be tempted to contact High Tech for services.

    A Saturday evening on the coldest day of the year, the furnace was not functioning properly. After-hours call was prompt and professional. After thorough diagnosis the heat exchanger / furnace was condemned (Brett used a camera to show me the very apparent crack). Amber came out at 8pm the same night to measure up and quote a new unit, she also brought several space heaters to help us take the chill off. Installers Lorenzo and Joseph came promptly Sunday morning (earlier than promised) and installed new equipment. Pricing was in line of what I would expect (if not less being that it was a weekend). Thanks gang, we truly appreciate the work!

    I purchased a new furnace and a/c after my furnace died. High Tech was fast on installing new units and fixing a problem with our existing whole house humidifier to get it working with the new system. The service techs are highly knowledgeable and friendly and I absolutely trust their opinions!
