Dan and his crew did a great job and were very pleasant and professional. Dan scoped out the work and provided me with a detailed plan and enough technical information to allow me to make a good decision. Jana set up the schedule and managed the logistics. Matt and the other two installers (I didn't catch their names) arrived on schedule, worked with care, cleanliness, and precision, and did the job as planned despite torrential rain. At the conclusion of the job they took the time to show me how to operate and maintain my new system and to review the owner's manual. When the rain stopped and I went outside to review their work, I was beyond impressed. They built a nice platform for the new compressor, covered the cables and the other lines from the compressor to the interior unit, and routed conduit around the exterior of my home, all with quality and precision that you just don't see every day.

We've had Vashon Heating and Cooling maintain the propane stove that's been our only heating source for 17 years. And we had them work on our previous house for years before that. Their technicians are always on time, skilled, and efficient. When it came time to install a whole-house, forced-air heat pump system, there wasn't a question of who we'd hire. We wanted a local company we could trust to do good work and not to cut corners and that'd be around for after-installation maintenance. They completed the installation a day earlier than promised and have provided the local, after-installation support we've come to expect from them. They're an example of what excellent skills and service look like.

Dan, who owns Vashon Heating and Cooling, has been providing excellent service for over thirty years. Unfortinately furnaces do not live forever and mine died. Within days I had a new and more efficent furnace and so far am seeing lower heating costs. Thanks Dan and all the crew at Vashon Heating and Cooling.

Overall through the years we have been very pleased with the service provided by Vashon Heating & Cooling. The administrators are polite, friendly and very professional. The service we received this time though was less than stellar. We used them twice in a short period of time, one due to an emergency with our water heater and another for a very small gas fireplace insert maintenance. The service on the water heater wasn't fixed and the service person didn't offer much advice in the moment to help get it working again. In the end my husband fixed the issue by turning down the temperature of the heater by a few degrees. The second for the fireplace was done quickly and even though they did give us a discount of $30 they still charged for a very quick job, less than an hour, $250. I do really appreciate their services on the island but it felt like, this time, we paid out a lot for very little work.

We requested a bid for upgrading our heating system in our house to a heat pump. Dan responded promptly, came when he said he would and was very professional. We ended up using another company but I would not hesitate to recommend them. Jim R

Vashon Heating and Cooling installed a new 5 ton Bosch Heat Pump after our old Lenox Heat Pump failed in the 100 degree heat in 2021. The installation and set-up were excellent. Top installers, technicians, and customer service. They are efficient and everyone is nice. I have used their services for 15 years.

Super service of new heat pump with air cleaner plus a new hot-water heater and expansion tank. Very thorough work to include application of rebates and registration of new equipment. I didn't have to do a thing. For all work that was done, price seemed reasonable. Extremely capable and knowledgeable, not to mention friendly people. I highly recommend Vashon Heating & Cooling.

I recently had a heat pump installed by Vashon Heating and Cooling. It was a complicated process because it was dual zone and involved duct work. Vashon Heating and Cooling did superb technical job. And their customer service was equally excellent. I’m delighted with my new heat pump and the overall experience.

These guys are the best. It starts with the woman who sets up the appointments, and continues throughout the service. They installed an air conditioning unit for me, and have done routine maintenance for a long time. I couldn’t give them a higher recommendation.
