Precision Air

The old electric furnace died 2 weeks after moving into our house. I had planned on upgrading to a heat pump, but not so soon. Rather than patching up the old system, I got a quote from Precision and decided to take the plunge. Dave (the project manager) arranged to get the new Rheem air handler installed and functioning the next day so we had electric heat while waiting for the heat pump to arrive. A week later the compressor unit was installed and we are ecstatic. The system performs like a dream. Big thanks to Dave, and to Jarrin and Tally for top-notch, professional work. I recommend Precision Air to anyone in the Portland-Vancouver area.

Very positive experience, after 2 years of an on-going issue with our A/C unit burning through compressors. Precision Air was prompt in addressing the issue and did it in a polite and professional manner. Huge thank you to Morales, Tito and Steve for their amazing work!

Our AC unit quit on us two weeks ago. They came out with 2 days and gave us a quote. Serge was super friendly and helpful during the estimate. Tito, Alex and Justin helped with install. They were very nice, texted us to let us know they were on their way. They did a good job and cleaned up really well after they finished the job. Walked us through our new AC and Furnace. Will be using Percision Air again in the future.

Serge was very knowledgeable, came on time to appointment, and wasn’t pushy. Price and quality are very competitive. Installation took only 5-6 hours. Very pleased and would use them again. Highly recommended.

Exactly.....well, good news for anyone reading this review: Precision is in the top 1% of quality vendors...because they get it right.

We needed to replace our furnace. We had four different companies come over to quote us.

Precision's price was extremely competitive, which kept them on our shortlist as we continued down the path, but we ultimately chose Precision for the following reasons:

- Katelynn was responsive from moment one with scheduling, and through to the end, until our transaction was fully completed. I cannot tell you what a difference this made. She replied over email quickly, she was flexible when our calendars changed, and answered a ton of questions. It told me that Precision is on top of things, that they cared about earning our business, and that they run a well-oiled machine. (This level of responsiveness is critical when you're scrambling to replace a major appliance.)
- We were able to schedule a quote for, like, the next day, I think.
- Serge came over to quote us, and he took his time to investigate, take measurements, etc., and to answer all of my questions, and he did it without getting impatient. I could trust that he knew what he was talking about, and he explained things clearly, so that I could make the best decision. Without clear information, we would have been lost.
- The quote came in that same day - it was clean and easy to understand, and it had language on it that was something to the effect of "If you're not happy for any reason, we will make it right." Voila - trust established.
- Their labor warranty is also twice that of others - it's two years. Wow (and smart) - it says so much about how they back up their work.

As a result, I was ready (and happy) to commit.

So how did everything turn out?

Suffice it to say that I'm choosing to write this review because the same quality we experienced before purchase is the same quality we received with our installation.

Our replacement furnace was scheduled to be installed within just a few days of accepting the quote - wow!

Our tech, Eleuterio, arrived, and he was joined by a second gentleman, Yuri.

Honestly, I was terrified at what could go wrong, but Eleuterio and Yuri did a standup job that was thorough and complete at every turn.

- They made sure everything was working as intended before leaving. (They waited until I, myself, was satisfied - they didn't rush away.)
- They updated me at every turn when they were here.
- They let me watch them at times, which bothers some techs. All Eleuterio said was "no problem at all," and he made me feel welcomed to watch.
- They answered my questions along the way when I poked my head into the garage.
- They let me see the old heat exchanger they pulled out (it was not broken - shame on our old HVAC company).
- They cleaned up after themselves - not one piece of debris - not even a small piece of paper or anything on the floor.

I can't tell you how important it is to have this level of attention paid to you as a customer. It's one thing if it's in a restaurant where it makes you feel good; but it's a totally different thing when you're dealing with gas, electricity, other sensitive appliances nearby, etc. We needed Precision to get this right and to care about every detail as if it were their own home, and they did just that. This is worth the price of admission, alone. The last thing you want on an install like this is something going wrong.

Precision made me feel taken care of. People replied to me. People talked to me. People cared about the install, and I got a high quality reliable furnace at a competitive price that will keep my family warm for years to come.

I fully endorse Precision - not just as an HVAC company, but as a partner.

Great experience top to bottom! Reasonable prices, great work (the installers went above and beyond) and excellent communication with the office. They sent some out just to answer some questions I had about the unit! Would recommend and use again.

We contracted with Precision Air to replace our gas furnace and add an air conditioner. Our job was quite extensive because we have (2) HVAC units: one for our upstairs in our attic and a second for our main floor and basement. Precision sent numerous workers but Cedric was the lead and was helped by Cory, Justin, and Tito. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They worked really hard and long hours without taking a lot of breaks. Anyone who needs HVAC service needs to talk with the pro's at Precision Air.

We've used Precision for a few things now and have always been very impressed with their customer service. Yesterday, Sam came out to investigate a persistent issue we had been having with our ventilation. He was incredibly knowledgeable, able to fix our issue in a timely manner, and for a very reasonable price. I couldn't recommend Sam enough!

My heater stopped responding to the thermostat panel, would not kick on, or blow any hot air. I called Precision Air for repairs and they were able to get me in the next morning. Their technician Daniel was great! He figured out the problem quickly and was able to fix it. He also identified a few other potential issues (its an older heater and the previous owners of my house seemed to like trying to fix things on their own), addressing as many as he could with what he had on hand. This was fantastic service and I will definitely be calling them again.
