Jeff is the BEST!!!!! He is attentive and thorough to every detail. Explains and answers any silly questions without condescending while always patient and in good humor. Of all the service calls one must keep for home maintenance and safety, I actually look forward to his visits. As I have sold my condo, and this may or may not be the last service visit from Jeff, he represents his company well. I will be passing on my recommendation of his expertise.

Jeff is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He genuinely cares about making sure my HVAC is working perfectly. i always fee confident when he leaves that my system is tuned up and working perfectly.

We had Advantage come out and put in a new furnace for us. They were on time, professional and made sure to clean up after themselves. We had a call advising they were "on their way" which was appreciated. Thank you Josh and Josh! And their office person, Pam, is just a very kind and understanding lady. Thank you Pam! We had a problem with the heater which stopped working over the weekend and called Advantage Heating and while they don't work on Sunday, they sent someone the next day. Jeff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We fixed the problem and went above and beyond with his services. He even labeled the air intakes so we know which one is what. I gladly recommend this company and especially Jeff. Thank you for keeping us warm during the cold winter days!

Another HVAC company came and looked at my AC unit back in June. Now, not even three months later, I have no cold air again. Jeff from Advantage Heating & Cooling took a look at my unit. He was very through, you can tell he has been troubleshooting systems for a while. He found the problem very quickly, but still checked all items to make sure another issue did not exist. He took notes of readings which he used as a comparison when he repaired the leak the next day. Unfortunately is turned out I needed a new A coil unit, but he installed the unit, tested it, and it is now running like a champ. Being a technician in another field, I think Jeff would be great in any field he is working. I signed up for the Comfort Club, mainly due to Jeffs knowledge and skills. Advantage gets and A+ in my book.

Jeff is a great furnace person. We had problems during the cold weather and contacted him after hours. He was very responsive and assured us the furnace would be all right until morning. He was at our house around 7:00 a.m. the next day and repaired our furnace. We have always been able to depend on Jeff and Advantage Heating. They do a super job.

I called with a concern and was able to get a same day appointment. Jeff did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue and solving the problem. He is knowledgeable and professional and I trust him completely.

Jeff came out to the house, performed diagnostics on our heat pump, and determined we had a refrigerant leak somewhere in the system. He patiently explained not only how he arrived at his verdict but other parts of his process after I showed an interest in how it all worked. He was pleasant, conscientious, courteous, and well-trained.

I'm confident Jeff was honest in explaining why we were going to have to spend more money. Our system is 13 years old, so it has limited life left in it before other components fail and need to be replaced, with diagnostic and installation costs attached. He offered as one alternative the installation of a brand new heat pump with a 12-year parts and 2-year labor warranty, which we chose, thinking it will cost us less in the long run. I still believe that was the correct decision.

If I had to offer any way in which Jeff might improve his performance as a heating and cooling technician, I would have to stop and think hard, because he's so good at what he does. And then I would say this. He sometimes seemed rigid and unyielding in his conversational style, speaking in extended paragraphs rather than being open to a back-and-forth conversation. If he were more agile conversationally he would be seen as friendlier, although I'm sure he has the very best intentions and is a good-hearted guy. Sometimes I felt he wasn't listening to my question so much as planning what he would say as soon as I stopped talking.

He could also improve how he handled the paperwork. When I didn't have exact change and had to give him a little more cash than the amount he'd written on the contract, he scribbled through the original number and wrote the new figure next to it rather than making a banker's correction (a single line through the wrong figure, initialed, and the correct number next to it). I would have more confidence in my cash receipt if it were written up properly.

Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would be happy to work with Jeff again. Advantage Heating and Cooling will continue to be our first choice for service on our heat pump.

Advantage Heating and Cooling replaced my air conditioning unit. They were very responsive and quick in getting a quote with very little pressure. Mitch and Mike did the installation and, despite the very tight conditions of my crawl space, got the job done quickly and quietly.

We have used Advantage for our HVAC/Cooling inspections this past year and have been very satisfied. We recently called Advantage to give us a quote for replacing our water heater. They were prompt in responding and very fair. Justin and his team just replaced the water heater yesterday and we know how difficult this particular job was.
