We had a work order put in with them for emergency heating repair, on day 3 my rental company reached out multiple times and I reached out multiple times as well. Including the work number for the specific technician. We had zero response. So now we are on day 4 of no heat with temperatures dropping into the 20s and snow. Very unprofessional company.
We had a heat pump and air handler installed. The first team of installers did a terrible job at installing and with an attitude. They also were going to leave us with a busted Heat Pump as it had a hole in it and wouldn't hold coolant. They also did not use stud finders and left all kinds of holes in my wall and sealing. I said something to them about the ugly job they were doing and the lead installer told me I shouldnt care as long as it worked. Very unprofessional. It was so bad that a second team of installers (same company) had to come out and reinstall the system. They were the ones that caught the hole right away and said that the first installers should have caught it. We were very appreciative of that and the second team did a great job. I would have given them a better rating as they did try and correct the problem however then thier contractor came to fix the damage that they did to my home he putty on the holes and never came back to finish leaving us to have to complete the repairs. If you like your home wouldn't recommend them unless you don't care what it looks like after. I now have work to do to fix what they broke.
Most of the people here have home warranty. Which means they choose to pay less to nothing out of pocket for service and repairs. The trade off to not paying full price like other big HVAC companies out there is, they have to wait for approval from their home warranty for any work to be done. An HVAC company will not buy the part and put it in right away and hope the warranty will pay them after the repair is done. If you wanted a faster service then you have to pay the big bucks. If not, you have to wait. Don’t blame the HVAC company when the HVAC company has to wait for approval first before any work can be done, and any repairs made before approval results in loss of money to that HVAC company. The warranty will not pay if the work is done before approval. This is a small company not a big company with 10++ service techs and installers. 6-9 calls a day between 4 techs, that’s a lot of calls per week and 80% of them need a repair. Only two install crews doing the installs. 1-2 calls a day and many waiting for their turn to have their system installed. So getting angry at this company for waiting for an “approval” from the warranty companies is not their fault. You choose the home warranty company so you don’t have to pay a lot out of pocket. If you wanted faster service then you should pay the higher price like the rest of the people who don’t have warranty and is capable of paying from their own pockets. Be mad at the home warranty company for making both parties wait so long.
Would not recommend this company. Since owning the house for 1 year, we have had them come out 4 times to fix the furnace. Always saying it something else, but the furnace keeps breaking. We wouldn’t have continued to use them, but they are the “preferred” company for our home warranty and we have to use them. They make us wait weeks to come out and diagnose, while we have no heat in the middle of winter. The house has gone down to 52 degrees and the only reason it’s that warm is because we are using space heaters and our fireplace. Then they cancelled due to weather. After rescheduling, they no call, no show. We called the office several times, left messages and no answer. Called the emergency line too and nothing. Finally, after posting on Facebook about our experience, we get a call that they are on their way, hours after the appointment time. So disappointed and frustrated that my family has had to go through the holidays and winter with this.
