They were quick to service my needs with the furnace. They came out the next day from my initial call and gave me an acceptable 2nd opinion from another company that came earlier that week. I was also able to get a price quote for parts and service later that same day. I was also able to meet with a sales person within a day or two of calling. All in all I had great service from office staff, technicians and sales reps. Everyone was fast to service.

Feb-2021, ask Glendale to diagnose my HVAC for no heat. The technician was efficient in finding the problem ($99 for finding problem) but did not ask for my permission to replace the faulty parts (the ignitor). He charged $195 for the parts, when Amazon sells it for $5 ~ 15.
Next I told him to check the heat pump, also for no heat. I specifically ask him to only diagnose. This guy did not hook up any meter or device to the heat pump but told me there is no refrigerant in the system. He charged $99.
That total was $432. Quite honestly, I should have kicked him out on the first $99.
When he found out I have a camera recording the whole time, he said he need to go to next appointment and left quickly.
I do not recommend using this business.

I had injured my ankles, and while I was recovering I ran out of oil.
I was supposed to be on a contract with another company, and I looked them up and immediately saw a review that stated the same thing, and neither of us could reach them by phone.

I called Glendale and I had oil delivered in one hour.

It's scary when you can't walk and your home becomes so cold. It was also a Friday, and I was VERY worried I may have to be without heat for the weekend, or go to the hospital.

Erika, the representative I spoke to was so nice. She cheerfully took care of everything.

I called, I spoke to a human that was only a few miles away at Glendale. I couldn't believe how reassuring it was to know that, and be able count on a family business in your own neighborhood.

Helpful staff and connected to a polite after hours consultant. They have never arrived in the estimated window so plan for the whole day and maybe next morning… they will stay as long as they need to make sure all problems are resolved (even if they are in addition to the one you made the appointment for) so it’s worth it.

Illegal Wanderer

New to me house with an old gas furnace. Had a tech come to check it out and see if it was safe to fire up. He pulled out the burners, found rust and said it wasn't safe to fire it up. Told me the parts would be expensive (~$1k) if available at all and better off getting a new unit. Told me a salesman would follow up to get a quote for replacement. Month later and I've never heard from the salesman but I did find the needed part for $100. Problem is I don't know if anything else is wrong as he stopped looking even though I paid for a full diagnostic. Bummer since they are about 5 blocks away but I'll be using someone else from now on.

I called Glendale for a third opinion on a repair on my Lennox heat pump several years ago. The serviceman gave me a much clearer explanation of the problem and the different recommendations to resolve the problem. The estimate was even 25-35% less than the other two estimates. I allowed them to repair the heat pump and no problem since plus I’ve signed up for a annual maintenance check. From a satisfied customer.

Glendale installed a new Rheem single stage furnace for us. Everything about this experience was excellent...their knowledge, responsiveness, timeliness, quality of work, and communication all met or exceeded expectations. Early experience with the furnace and Honeywell air cleaner has been positive. We researched our choice of contractor carefully before selecting Glendale and we’re happy with our choice.

Incompetent is how I would describe Glendale Heating. Scheduled service over a week ago only to have the technician show up today and announce he had no idea how to service our boiler. He then promptly left without performing the scheduled service. This was especially frustrating as I took the day off work. Glendale had serviced our home twice before without issue. Most alarming was the total lack of contrition or even an apology from the Glendale management. If you value online reviews I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. We plan to tell all our friends about our experience with Glendale Heating. Caveat Emptor!

Here's my response to Gendale Heating: At no point during our conversation today did you offer any apology. In fact you were quite defensive on the phone muttering something about "we don't offer that service"... even though you've been to our home twice to service our system. Your claim that you found us an alternative service is completely false. I found (on my own) a company that specializes in servicing our boiler. Not only did you fail to service our system today (and waste my time) you have asserted a falsehood. This speaks volumes about Glendale Heating and serves as a warning to potential customers that your company should be avoided at all costs. #FAIL
