I recently considered purchasing a ductless AC system and contacted this company for a quote. However, I had some concerns about my experience. The technician who came to provide the quote presented a price that was approximately $5,000 higher than another quote I had received from a different company. Naturally, this significant price difference raised some red flags for me.

In addition to the price issue, the company informed me that I would need to install a sub panel for my electric box, which they claimed would cost $3,200. Interestingly, all the other companies I received quotes from stated that a sub panel was unnecessary for my installation. To my surprise, the same company later revised the cost of the sub panel down to $1,500. This inconsistency in pricing and sudden changes made me question their professionalism and reliability.

Allred heating and cooling has become a NO paper business which is not a right Match for me. I need to know what services were performed and on what date and any recommendations. I didn't even get a copy of the contract I signed with them. However you can get a copy on request but I prefer it to be on the day of service

Two service calls in one day. The first was a quote for a ductless mini-split AC install. The person was professional, and in my opinion knowledgeable and I felt confident the installation would be top quality. But the quote came in $4000 more than an almost identical installation at my neighbor's home next door. Then I got a second quote from another company, and that quote was $5000 less than Allred's quote.
The second service call from Allred was for annual furnace inspection and maintenance. The maintenance cost was about $200, but he tried to charge me $750 to replace parts that had not failed and didn't need to be replaced. I didn't let him do the unnecessary part replacement.

We purchased our heat pump system through Lowes after a working through quotes Costco and Home Depot. Allred was the contractor and provided the quote, equipment, and work. Everything was fantastic! We’ve had the system for a little over a year now and the service call package is really worth it to. I do recommend anyone looking for anything Heating & Air to check out Allred.

Jake was extremely helpful and was a real pleasure to work with. He gave a lot of honest input on our project and was able to set us up with realistic expectations. I'd be happy to work with him again!

Cameron from Allred was very responsive and professional during his visit. He services both my furnaces and my AC unit while answering my questions and provided maintenance tips while he worked. He also shared the optional services programs and helped me schedule another appointment for a potential AC unit Addon. Overall great services value - I will be using them again next year.

Update:
As of January 10th, Allred and I have been in contact. They are working on making this right and I can really appreciate the effort they're trying to put in. Will update on the resolution.

Jan 27th,
New AC was installed. They were able to install the AC and did it in a very quick turn around. The installers were professional and did an excellent job. I really enjoyed working with them. If it wasnt for the long delay and the lack of confirmation about my original install I would have given them a 5 star review. Thank you!

Well it's been several months since we accepted the installation agreement. With an installation date set for August 19th, and still no AC or new install date, it's safe to assume this company has no intention of installing an AC for me. I have received zero phone calls, emails, or even texts on updates or status of my installation. It is now more of an effort for me to inquire on the status than it is to just face the inevitable.

We were excited to get an AC installed, in June we began requesting quotes and settled on all red due to their quick quote and appearance of ease of installation. They initially stated and confirmed an install date of August 19th but due to supply shortages they told me to patiently wait for inventory and a weekly follow-up. Well we received no follow-up and I had to begin to call on a weekly basis to ask for a status. We even went so far as to even ask for an equipment change if able. It is now October and we have still received no update or communication for that matter on any installation or options.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience and trying to work with them over the last several months (June to October). I know supply chains are a little crazy and was giving them the benefit of the doubt but when I have other contractors saying they can get inventory fairly easily I have to assume it's just this company that is the problem and not the inventory. I want to assume I am a fluke and this company is decent but my experience has been difficult at best. Please take this review with a grain of salt, I hope I am alone in this but am skeptical.

They put a screeching whistle in one of their ads that hurt my ears and now it's my goal to make them suffer. They better not leave their vehicles unattended

Chris was professional and personable. He has a good attitude and represented Allred well. The AC works great, thank goodness.
