So we got a heat pump through Costco from Home Comfort Alliance. The installation was good, and for the first year or so it worked great. Since then we had multiple issues. One time a mechanic came out to fix an issue, and left the unit in test mode, which meant the AC was fixed at 62. It took several calls to get someone else to come out to fix it. Next the main control board of the unit went bad, and it took several weeks, calls and two visits to get that fixed. We got the board replaced in February and things seemed to be ok. Then this last weekend the heatwave hit and the unit is completely useless. The air coming out of it this evening was at 82 degrees. I called this morning and could only get an appointment for a week from today. I asked for a call from a manager and have not received one all day.
It’s very frustrating when you don’t even get a call back.
The amount of time and calls I had to waste to get this heat pump to work is crazy. At this time I cannot recommend Home Comfort Alliance.

We recently worked with MM Comfort Systems for a ductless air conditioning mini-split for our 3 story townhouse. The work started and completed on time. Mike and Devin consulted with us on location and positioning of each of the units, along with ensuring we could operate each unit before completing the work. Everything works and looks great. They even completed all the warranty paperwork for us. This exceeded my expectations!

Do not use this company. I reached this company via Costco, so if you are a Costco member and thinking of contracting through Costco think twice!
First the good, their techs, with the exception of their electrician, were friendly and hard working. The BAD, I bought a new heat pump and air handler from this company. Towards the end of the second day of the job the techs informed me that they were having issues connecting the air handler and heat pump to one another, and that a more senior tech would be out the next day. The next day came and went. Not only did no one show up, but I never even got a call with an update. The next day I was finally able to get a call returned, I was told that the part of the system needed to be swapped out and that they'd be back in touch. I heard nothing for several days and again calls were not returned. I emailed the sales associate who was at least able to update me on what the issue was, but still there was no clear path to resolution or any attempt by the company to proactively reach out to me explaining the issue. Finally a crew arrived w/ a new air handler; however, after a few hours of work I was informed this unit wouldn't fit in the space, and that another unit would have to be ordered. More time went by with NO communication from the company. Finally I was informed that the heat pump was the issue and that would need to be swapped out. With the system finally working the inspector came out. He had a callout that the system needed to be strapped down for seismic protection. To date the company has never made an attempt to address this callout by the inspector and has never called me. To add insult to injury I found that the company actually billed me credit card BEFORE the work was completed. Hours of my time wasted, an incomplete install, and awful customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IF USING COSTCO FOR HVAC WORK TRY TO GET A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO DO THE WORK!!!

We installed A/C and changed old furnace.
Well planned, well executed from start to finish. Sam & Antonio were awesome.
Very respectful and very knowledgeable.
Highly recommend MM comfort and Sam and Antonio.

Great work by MM comfort team and specifically Zach and Mike, our installers. High quality install and great customer service! Strongly recommend getting a bid and using.

I went through Costco to get an air conditioner added onto our house and the estimate process was very clear and I was able to sign an agreement for the whole install and components to be installed later once they all became available due to the supply chain issues, but did not need to pay anything until a couple weeks out from the install. We ended up needing to wait a few months more than expected (but we didn't need AC in the winter anyways). It was easily scheduled once things became available though.
On the day of the install Lamont & Qushawn arrived and were very professional during the process and answered any questions I had. Once it was all installed they walked me through all the details of the install and how to register the product to extend the warranty. They left everything clean and I had no complaints at all. Both the city and L&I passed off the work as meeting all the requirements and code right away.
We are so grateful to have AC added onto our system to prepare for the hotter and hotter summers experienced in Washington.

MM Comfort Systems did an excellent job at a very fair price for the install of our heat pump. They were extremely communicative with all our questions. The installers Rus and Dallas did a great job removing our oil furnace and installing the new duct work. I would definitely recommend to anyone doing HVAC work.

I have worked with MM comfort systems twice in replacing furnaces. Both times, they damaged the interior door trim and dry wall on both places. For one of the incidents, I didn't care much as it is an easy fix - just patching the drywall and spot touch the trim with paint.
For the other incidents, there were noticeable damage that cannot be easily fixed as the technician dropped the furnace twice on the tile floor while taking it out of the house using a dolly. When the furnace was being dropped twice (I heard loud bangs twice - 30 seconds apart from each other), it also hit the door trim and the drywall, making a penny size hole in the wall. The door trim is a custom top of the line products that is natural wood. It now has very noticeable scratch. Unfortunately, it wasn't just one trim. The technician hit three different door trims and left large / visible scratches on all 3 places while he was getting the furnace out of house.
I took photos of damage and reached out to MM comfort three times. I called them and left a message. Also, I emailed twice - once to the general email and another to Jenah Barlow as I was told that she is the person responsible in handling this issue. However, I didn't get any response from the company.

We just had a new heater and air conditioner put in our home. MM Comfort Systems was fantastic! I got several bids, but there’s was the best by far. They were prompt with correspondence and the whole process was super fast. The estimator Rod Kippes was great and explained all of the options we had, teaching me about how the system worked and answering all of my questions. Install was beautiful and the installers Dan and Alex were so friendly and knowledgeable. They explained how to operate and maintain my furnace and taught me how to program my thermostat. I couldn’t be more happy with my new equipment and would recommend MM Comfort Systems to anyone needing heating and cooling!

The system is now up and running. It took a little bit but the technicians were great to work with and HC followed through on the repair of the original installation. I'm happy with my new system.
