Very disappointing experience with Taylor Heating. It took a few weeks to get on the schedule for a furnace tune up. The night before the appointment, they called and cancelled since the weather was warm and other ACs were going out - the temperature was 78 degrees for 2 days. I explained how I needed this service since I was listing my house for sale and they rescheduled me another couple of weeks out. The day before the appointment, I called to make sure I wouldn’t be last minute cancelled again and they reassured me I would be seen, in fact, they gave me the 8am spot so I would be “guaranteed” the service. The morning of the appointment, I was called at 8:10am and was told they would have to cancel again because the service technician assigned to me was not at work. At this point, I took 2 days off of work to be home for the service and now my house was sold with the contingency of having the furnace serviced. I again expressed my frustrations so they said they would try and have someone stop by. I called multiple times that day for updates and was given an estimated time of 5pm. The office closed at 6pm and still no service technician so I had given up at that point. At 7:30pm, the doorbell rang and the technician was there. My kid was just put to bed but I needed this done ASAP. The technician who arrived was very nice and helpful, but the overall experience of the multiple last minute cancellations and not being able to speak to a manager was very frustrating. This is not the way to value customers. It seems things has changed since the family business was sold. It’s a shame since I now need a new HVAC system at the house I’m moving to but I will be looking elsewhere for a reliable company that values their customers.

Annual inspection of the furnace and tuneup. The technician spent 10 minutes at my house charged me $153 and did not even have the right air filter. I was told that they would mail me an air filter and that I would have to install it myself. I was told they “thought” there “might” be an issue with the motor and that it would have to be replaced. when they sent me a quote for the replacement. It was $2200. when I asked how much the part was versus the labor involved, at first, I was told that they don’t break down the price of the part versus labor. After I called the office for confirmation, I never received a response. I looking up the price of the motor, it’s between 100 and $200 and takes about an hour to replace… So if they’re charging $2000 for an hour of labor… Again I’ll have to hard pass.

I git a quote from this company. I haven't yet had them replace my A/C unit, but will probably go with them when I do. The tech Chad was knowledgeable and wasn't trying to sell me on stuff we didn't need. He explained the pros and cons of certain upgrades and where we could save money overall for our house in regards to hvac.

Taylor heating was fantastic! Donnie gave me honest quotes with a number of options to cover both my budget and home needs, and answered several questions to help me decide. Our 28 year old furnace was dying and we decided now is the time to replace it. The installation team was fast and quiet and did a great job installing the new system. The pricing was very, very fair, and I cannot speak highly enough about this company.

The technician was very personable and did a great job of explaining the process to me. I appreciate that he saw our time together as a teaching moment since the areas of heating and cooling are not my expertise. I feel like I understand what is going on with our heater now and can make an informed decision as to our next steps. I appreciate the “we are here when you need us” approach instead of feeling pressured to make decisions on the spot. Great job- I highly recommend.
