I was very pleased with the professional service to install my new air conditioning. All of the people from the initial estimator, the installers, to the phone coordinator, were outstanding and pleasant to work with. The actual finished work was expertly done and at a reasonable price. I would recommend this company highly.

Tahoma Heating and Cooling was easy to work with, they tore out the old heat pump and furnace and installed a complete new heat Pump and furnace system, they completed it in one day as they had said they would.

I cannot say enough good things about Tahoma Heating & Cooling. I have provided comments before, but it's time to repeat what a tremendous service they provide.
When we had our heat pump installed (an upgrade from a 20+ year old dual zone system), I also signed up for a twice yearly maintenance check after the first (free) six month maintenance check was done. Since then the maintenance has been timely, thorough and professional. The one problem we had (with an inside air handler) was quickly and completely resolved.. This company stands behind it's work without any questions.
I recommend Tahoma Heating and Cooling without reservation to anyone who wants to upgrade their HVAC system or convert their heating/air conditioning to an efficient heat pump.

April 2023 --- It is now more than 2 years since I first had Tahoma Heating & Cooling replace our older heat pumps and air handlers. Since then they have performed maintenance twice a year to keep everything running in perfect shape. They are always on time for appointments, thorough in inspecting our system, and professional in completing all work required. In fact, they go above and beyond simple maintenance by anticipating possible problems and fixing potential failures before they occur. One could cynically say that this is to generate billable work, however that is not the case as they have covered everything under their outstanding warranty.
I continue to stand by my original statement that I recommend them without reservation.

They installed an HVAC system in our MIL apartment AND in our house. Everyone has be so incredibly respectful of myself and my home. They are all helpful, friendly and really know their stuff. They work together like a well oiled machine. They explained how our system works and how to maintain it. The communication from start to finish has been great. Not to mention we LOVE our new system. Every single person we’ve dealt with has been great. I highly recommend Tacoma Heating and cooling. So glad we went with them.

My neighbors recommended Tahoma after I had been unhappy with other companies. Tahoma is far superior in their work and their explanation of technical detail.

A/C system went out on first really hot day of the year. Called their office at 10pm on a Saturday night expecting to leave a voicemail to get returned Monday. But no, Shannon answered the phone and we had several more calls up to 11pm in attempt to troubleshoot by phone. It turns out the system had been vandalized. Manager Shawn came out personally the next day (Sunday) even though I wasn't even home. He fixed the issue, charged a fair price and was on his way. They billed me like gentlemen, which was easy to pay using an emailed link. True old fashioned unheard of top shelf service. This is the 2nd time they've done something like this... last fall they came and replaced a leaking water heater while I was out of the country, just dealing with the problem and emailing me a bill with a trust that I will treat them as fairly as they treat me. Needless to say, these guys have all my business and any I can refer their way.

Shawn and his team at Tahoma Heating and Cooling are amazing! We had them replace our forced air furnace and install AC. We did our research and had quote from 3 other companies, but Tahoma's prices were the best and customer service top notch. I could email Shawn anytime with a question and usually get a response back within 30 min. He even came out to try to troubleshoot a problem with our old furnace to get us through till our install date. They were very professional in the house during the install process and I was very impressed with the clean-up and putting items back in place that had to be moved out of the way. It's been almost 3 weeks now and we are so happy with our new furnace and are looking forward to having AC this summer. Would definitely do business with them again.

Update 5 months later and still have rave reviews! Shawn and his team are so responsive and truly put their customers first. Shawn is also just an all-around nice guy and we really respect the mission he has for his business and want to support that kind of community focus as much as possible.

Update: We've had the system for 2 years now and still just as happy with the new furnace and AC system as well as the professional service they provide. Very easy to make an appointment for preventative maintenance and really appreciate the email and text reminders. Everyone at the company is pleasant to work with and I will gladly continue to do business with them.

Tahoma Heating was very professional in sending reminders to us of our upcoming appointment. Even the day of, letting us know what time they'd be arriving. They also, came right on time and installed our AC unit and when it wasn't working quite right that night, they came back the very next day and got it up and working! I'd highly recommend this company for your heat and air.
