Excellent company. I have had their company work on a fireplace at the last place I rented and the house I recently purchased. Very professional. The boss is very responsive and respectful. The technician, Alex, was clean and took all of the garbage with him. He also followed COVID precautions the entire time without prompting. I am worried that some of the reviews for the other VIP heating and cooling should have been listed for this one as the tech on one of the reviews is named Alex. Nothing but good things to say about this company.

Possibly the poorest customer service I've ever experienced.
This company provided an inaccurate diagnosis, were slow to follow up, used profane language and hung up on me when told their troubleshooting was incorrect, and failed to send a refund after saying they would do so.
When I followed up three months later to find out why I wasn't sent the refund that I had been promised, the owner hung up on me again.
Hired this company in February 2015 to diagnose problems with two natural gas stoves in the same home - an insert that wouldn't come on and a free standing unit that wouldn't stay lit.
The tech/owner said that the insert needed 2 new switches and the free standing stove needed a new pilot assembly because it was "plugged".
I was charged $172 for this diagnosis and told that he would check on prices and availability of parts and call me.
I checked on the prices of these parts myself online the next day. I found the pilot assembly for $182 + shipping and don't remember the cost of the switches.
VIP Heating and Cooling finally called me about 10 days later to tell me that they could replace the switches in the insert but that the pilot assembly wasn't available (!!!?? - I found it online in about 3 minutes).
However prior to his call, I decided to take a look at the stoves myself. I do my own maintenance and repair on these kinds of things most of the time anyway and was just trying to save some time by hiring someone to come out.
I checked the wiring of the switches on the insert and discovered two of the wires were connected incorrectly. Corrected that, cleaned the contacts and burner ports, and the stove has worked perfectly ever since.
Then I checked the pilot assembly on the free standing stove and discovered that -far from being plugged - the gas line to the pilot assembly was loose and leaking gas at the fitting to the pilot tube. Once I tightened the line, it also worked perfectly and has ever since.
So when VIP Heating & Cooling finally called with the news that parts weren't available (!!??), they didn't want to hear that I had both stoves working great without replacing any parts, and that I wasn't that happy of a customer.
I was told I was full of ****. When I asked about getting a partial refund on the bill for the inaccurate diagnosis, I was told they would refund 100%.
