Cardinal Heating & Air

I was quoted $1700 for a repair that they estimated would take 3 hours. It took their technician 45 minutes to complete the job. I asked if they were going to adjust the price based on the time it actually took and they responded that isn’t their policy.

My radiant heat system stopped working right before Thanksgiving while we have guests in the house. I called Cardinal Heating and James helped me reset the low water cutoff and restarted the system over the phone. Super nice people would definitely recommend for others!!

I moved into a new home in September 2022 with a new HVAC system installed by Cardinal Heating & Air with the previous owner. The system didn’t function well (a little heat came out when we ran the AC but otherwise could not heat or cool our new home).

I called Cardinal several times to request an assessment and was told that they were not taking on new clients even though they installed the system recently. They said the previous owner was their client and they could not take us on even though it was the same system and house they installed it in.

I then hired another 3rd party HVAC company for an assessment and learned that the newly installed unit by Cardinal Heating & Air was significantly oversized for our home causing the issues we were experiencing. I called Cardinal Heating & Air again begging for an assessment so we could at least understand why they chose such an oversized unit and how it would work for a house of our size and no one would speak with me.

After multiple calls, Cardinal Heating & Air eventually connected me with James the sales manager. James told me that he could send someone out if I paid the over $500 debt of the previous owner of our home in advance even though there was ZERO record of this debt and no lien placed upon the previous owner at the time of sale.

All in all, Cardinal Heating & Air in Kirkland, WA has left our family in the cold (literally) due to their poor work, low accountability, and dubious practices by trying to extort money we do not owe.

We would have liked a service call and we were more than happy to pay for that call, not any unaccounted debt from other clients. I am verte discouraged by their poor work and shady business practices.

Cardinal Heating and Air did a wonderful job on our heating and air system. Their install crew was professional and answered any questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked me who my go to was for AC and heating.

Cardinal Heating & Air is consistent and responsive and their people know what they're doing, across sales and new installation and (most importantly!) service. Wow, their service is *strong*.

These guys were the right people for the job when it came to my 50 year old boiler/hydronic system with 4 zones. Two plumbers had come out previously to diagnose a zone that would not get heat. Their solution, replace everything for thousands of dollars! Cardinal sent one of their hydronic experts out and he properly diagnosed the issue, air in the system with improper design to allow it to clear, and also our circulation pump was not working. 5 hours of work, a new valve and drain soldered in to the basement zone, and a new circulator pump got our system working like new and all for 1/6th the cost of even the cheapest quote from a plumber. Thanks for doing it right with what we have!

20 yrs ago we launched a turkey fundraiser, within the Chelan County PUD, to help needy families in the Wenatchee Valley so they may have a turkey for the holidays. The first year we raised enough for 250 turkeys. A person within the fundraising group, Art Bainard, passed away one fall, so our group decided to have a golf tournament in his honor. It started with 25 players, then soon boomed to 100 players the next year. The year before Covid, and thanks to Cardinal Heating, we raised enough money to buy 900 turkeys. This year we had 120 players and the golf tourney raised $5000 towards the Art Bainard Turkey Fund.
We will continue to have the tourney each fall for this great cause. Thank you, Cardinal Heating for helping us again this year, to help the needy families of our valley and surrounding area.

My AC died during the heat wave last year, while working with Tom to decide on a replacement for my 20 y/o system I mentioned some issues I wanted addressed. A year later with another heat wave, I'm glad we made the changes as it made this summer more bearable. The entire team from start to finish was very friendly, responsive and professional.

The people here are very helpful! We had a customer with a specific need of removal of their HVAC system because of water damage in their home. The Good people at Cardnal reacted right away and helped our customer who was thrilled with their customer service 😊
