I have used their services twice for two different reasons and was very pleased both times. The first was over the summer when my AC broke down. They came the same day and fixed the job to my satisfaction.
More recently, I came down to my kitchen early in the morning to find a leak dripping down the ceiling from a light fixture. It was leaking from the bathroom above. Their tech came that morning and found and fixed the source of the leak. He was professional professionally, and I am glad for his responsiveness.

We recently had a new AC and furnace installed by Dear Service AC. They gave us a very competitive price which allowed us to go to a higher sear (more energy efficient) unit. They replaced our old system in one day and left a clean worksite. The new unit is much quieter than our old one yet it puts out significantly more air. We had one problem with the old tubing and they were out the next day to repair it. Everyone we have met from this company has been extremely polite and knowledgeable and we would recommend their services.

When I called DEAR Services to come take a look at my furnace and give a quote for either repair or replacement, the technician who arrived to diagnose the problem was Dante. He was professional, knowledgeable, and gave me more information that I even knew I needed to know! We decided it made sense to replace the unit and when Johnny came for the sales call, I was impressed with the way the presented the information and the integrity in which the company is ran. They also offered to leave heat for us overnight until we could get a new unit installed.

This is one of the most stressful years I’ve had dealing with any company in the PNW. I paid over 14k for a HVAC system to be installed at my house and ever since they installed it they have messed things up. First the county electrical inspection didn’t pass cause of some of the things weren’t correct then three different techs they sent out couldn’t fix the problem. We had been contacting them because the whole year I’ve had the service there was a loud rattling noise when in use. Then in summer my ac stopped working and they finally sent some one out and found a leak and when they started working on it they were half way through the project when they told me I had to pay out of pocket for the coolant to be replaced. I’m very upset writing this because I feel used and like my money was stolen from me and my family.

I hired Dear Services in July 2022 to install an AC unit. The experience was OK, but I did not like the high pressure sales tactics of the woman who sold us the unit. Come to find out in Spring 2023, that would be the least of our issues when it came to the AC or Dear.
The AC unit that the company sold us, was too large of a capacity for the existing furnace, and the furnace was damaged during the AC installation. We would not find this out until April 2023, when we called Dear for no heat.
They came and charged us 2200 to replace 3 pieces in the furnace and the next morning we still had no heat. They came back the next day and recommended either 400, 1000, or a replacement of the furnace as options. I called two other companies to give quotes and once they opened the furnace they found that it was damaged on the inside and duct taped back together and that the AC coil that was installed was done incorrectly without proper retrofitting of the air supply or correct allowance for internal air flow.

Since filing a complaint with the BBB and moving forward with a small claim, DEAR services has been responsive to my issues and apologized for the experience I had with their sales and technicians. I did end up replacing the system with another company but my concerns with the services provided have been addressed. As with any service, ensure that you get multiple quotes and ask for full diagnostics from every company you solict for services.

We were sold a new heater and AC unit. They came and installed quickly but within 2 months the AC went out twice and it took them a week to repair in almost 100 degree weather. The tech they sent out was an awesome person but the company as a whole has been a nightmare to work with. Then our heating system went out twice, once when it was snowing. They also promised 18 months free as part of our contract but our credit has been impacted because they did not hold up their end of the deal. We had to pay $247 multiple times to keep it from continuing the ding our credit. I would NOT recommend them
