Quick, knowledgeable, and efficient. Steve and his crew were wonderful to have working in my home. The new heat pump, furnace and thermostat are all awesome. It's a real treat to have the whole house comfortable again after several years of going without cebtral heat or AC.

I’ve done business with Horst Heating & Air Conditioning for many years. It’s always an emergency when it was either really hot or really cold and I got immediate service. I called one afternoon during a heat wave because my system wasn’t blowing any cool air...AND I had family showing up from out of town the next day. Steve told me his schedule was full for the day and asked if I would mind if he came later in the evening (of course I didn’t mind!). True to his word, he showed up at 7:30 pm. He tested the Freon level and it looked good then he cleaned something and lubed something and test ran the system and it worked!! Hooray!! He didn’t even charge me. He just shook my hand and said next time I see him at Starbucks, I could buy him a coffee. I was so impressed by him. Steve is a master in his craft and really knows his stuff. He’s thorough in his work, efficient with his time and he’s got a great sense of humor. In the past, I’ve done business with other HVAC company’s in the area, but once I had the experience of Horst Heating & Air Conditioning and how honest and hard working he is, I will never call on anybody else.

Steve Horst came over and diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Had my AC running like a champ in less than 30 minutes. Steve is "honest " which is a huge plus. I had other local big HVAC companies try to get me to buy a new system unnecessarily just so they can rake in the money. Oh well, I'm done with those companies . Horst is where my loyalty is from now on.

We have a very large house with three levels, and three HVAC units. Steve’s is our “go to service guy” for over 13 years, where He provided us with timely, and excellent service. I am very impressed by Steve’s comprehensive troubleshooting efforts of our HVAC systems, then thoroughly explaining his findings, and providing immediate and/or long term options to repair the unit. He genuinely has the best interest of the customer, and makes sure only the most pertinent and necessary fixes are performed (checked my factory warranty options). We have replaced two older heat pump units with new ones recommended by Steve, and systems work very efficiently. Again, We highly recommend Steve and his business.

Steve has replaced 2 furnaces and done repairs many times. I can text him whenever I have an issue with my heat or a/c and he gets back to me. I trust his reommendations, he always does what he can to save us money, and is kind and trustworthy. I am so glad we came across him. I would definitely recommend him to my own family and friends!

Steve always gets right back to me when I call him, I’m in Real Estate and I refer him to my clients that need HVAC help fast! The best thing about his service is his integrity he only does what needs to be done and doesn’t try to up sell them on products they do need like entire systems that I know other businesses in town do! We bought a used house in 2016. Immediately we could tell that there was virtually little air flow to the main floor. I called Chinook—-told them to check for a damper- they said everything looked OK and maybe I needed a new system. I called Campbell & Campbell and told them the same thing—-same answer and they wanted $12,000 for a new system!! I call Horst AC&H and Steve (the owner) found a damper in about 10 min. Opened it and, wow, did we have air flow!! I built a shop and then also needed a new system on the house. Got quotes and Horst clearly the lowest with a USA built system that has a great warranty! I HIGHLY recommend Horst for any heating and A/C work— even if it is small (finding a damper) or big (new system). They are GREAT! Walt T

I have used Steve since 2015 when I purchased my home, he has serviced the home since the mid 1990's. One year during the very hot summer he worked on the air conditioning unit late at night (approximately 12:00) to make sure our home was cooled. He is dependable and prompt and gets the job done in a timely manner.
