The crew that came out to replace my water heater and furnace were professional and on time. They explained every step of the process and the installation took only about 3 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a water heater or furnace replacement. I am very happy with the service I received.
You can’t find a better company from sales to installation, Washington Energy is The One Stop Shop for your Homes needs weather heating or siding to windows and more. Not the cheapest option but the Only option for me and my family. Thank you Washington Energy, a example of how a company should be built. They take pride in the core values of Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. Made a lifelong customers of me and mine!
Well let's start with they installed my parents a new ac unit. Worked fine then fan goes down didn't think much of it they came out it worked fine. Weather gets colder, and since then it has been monthly visits, now down to bi weekly visits to now it not even working for 24 hours after a visit. In that time it has drained their propane tank which usually is about every 4-6 months to a took it less than a month and $1200 to refill. Before they excuse we are running it too high it was only trying to keep the house at about 65 degrees barely kept it at 60. Only on their most recent visit yesterday with two techs out there from about 8:30 to after 2:30 and in this 30 degree weather the house is at 55 degrees. Oh and cherry thought the techs I heard audibly say we can't guarantee that what we are doing will work long term. So it seems since the pandemic their strategic planning is to half measure after half measure and hope and pray these half measures work. At this point the tech coming out would shock me more if he fixed it than if he did what did and it failed again tomorrow.
I am not one to write reviews but you should be aware of the craftsmanship that you will receive from Washington Energy Services. Our house needed to be resided as we had the old recalled LP siding. The salesman was nice and to be honest was the best part of the experience except I am a little disappointed he never came back by to see how the job went. After all he is the one representing the company. From there it just never got any better and to be honest it was worse than I thought it really could be. I own a commercial construction company so I know about best practices in construction and warranties. Well, the issues started off where the siding and the vertical trim boards meet and we had gaps from 1/8 to 3/8". I met the PM and the job lead at my house to discuss the issue and I really got excuses why it happened and that James Hardie's best practices are just a good guide on installing. Just so you know I am pretty sure James Hardie would disagree with the PM's conclusion on James Hardie' best practices for installing their product! Well after I reminded him, the PM, that it was Washington Energies reputation on the line he proceeded to agree that the siding needed to be fixed. And they did to their credit. I was disappointed on the last day the crew was in a hurry to get home for the holiday weekend and we cruised around the house as a quality check. Keep in mind that we walked on the ground and we have a two story home. A week later my wife and I painted the roof fascia to match the new trim before we had the gutters installed... Well, I found a whole roof line that wasn't caulked and loose siding. They said they would come out and fix it and make it right. They did come out and installed the screen door and were to finish caulking. We were on vacation when they came back to fix this issue. Today I got out my camera with a mirror lens to check to see if they actually caulked. Well they did not! I am tired of managing this project for them. I am apparently quality control for them and for them to follow best practices. If you have had quotes for James Hardie siding replacement then you know how much this costs and for them to not manage the project is a disgrace to their company and reputation.
I used Washington Energy Services to replace my furnace and install a brand new AC system for my 1970s era home. Compared to competitors, WES did the most robust intake process by listening to what I was looking for and assessing my house for what would be functional and effective.
From there, I was only met with professionalism with everyone I interacted with from the in-office staff to the installers. The installers were on time, communicative, professional, and left my house cleaner than they found it. 10/10 would recommend.
WES installed exterior doors for us with work warranted for the lifetime of the door except for fair wear and tear. The bottom strip started to get brittle and break apart so I called and asked if it was covered under warranty. I was told the part would be covered but had to pay to have a tech come out and replace it. I asked if I could get the part and replace it myself and was told I would be better off getting it at Home Depot. I would have preferred to have been told it wasn't covered due to fair wear and tear... I guess a lot of people hear free part and pay for labor.
We have been using Washington Energy services for 16 years. They installed our A/C, New furnace, new hot water tank plus yearly maintenance. I called to make an appointment for maintenance and was told that they are not servicing townhomes or condos right now - focusing on homes instead. WHAT! They lost our business and I recommend to all to go elsewhere. The management/ supervisor made this decision - why? So long Washington Energy Services you made a really bad decision. Carmen Dunlap
Worked there for about six months, was unfortunately let go due to budget cuts, but it was a great working environment which motivated me to pursue trade school. Hoping this isn't the end of our professional relationship, just a bump in the road.
Called to see if they would come out and service our gas fireplace but they were snooty and said that they did not work on any fireplaces older than 12 years old, presumably as an excuse to sell more fireplaces. Do not recommend!
It really was a pleasure working with Washington Energy Services on my existing Diakin system. Gabriel provided very through information regarding the existing system and options available to make more efficient. Bryan and team did an expert job on installing the Daikin One thermostat for the system as well as performing a full system test to ensure all was working as it should be. The Washington Energy Services team spends the time and effort to ensure what they are recommending is the right solution for the home owner.
