Air 1 Mechanical Heating Cooling Plumbing

The staff was unprofessional and unclear about their products. I had estimates from 3 other companies on split ac/furnace systems and they were able to give me different tier options. Air 1 was very limited and unable to accommodate my needs. They use builders grade Carrier units and don't explain the finer details that one might find out about through other ac install companies in the area.

Unfortunately my AC stopped working during the very hot period we had in NOVA in July and on a Saturday. I called assuming I'd be without air for the entire weekend or I would pay a ridiculous price for weekend service... this was not the case.

They came out the very next morning and by the afternoon they had replaced my entire system. They first made several attempts at repairing the existing system (no charge for the work they did trying to repair it).

I had previously had another company give me an estimate for replacing my system. Air1 beat that price by $1000.00 AND they gave me a new (free) control panel they happened to have in their truck from a previous job. I highly recommend Air1.

The plumber arrived early! Unheard of. He was a nice guy. The plumber charged me $350 to clear a drain with compressed air. It only took him about 20 minutes. I called alan at airone to see if he could make an adjustment to that because i thought it was too much. Alan agreed with me and sent me a check for $175. I thought that was great customer service. I've used airone for several years and have always been pleased with their service. I'm sure i will call them again as this money pit is always in need of repairs.

Had an A/C that decided to call it quits after 13 years of service. Called Air 1 on a Monday evening and spoke to Marc who setup a schedule to assess the problem the following day. Marc arrived at the scheduled time and identified the issue with the existing cooling system. Provided options and quotes for replacing the system. Based on his recommendation, I went with a new 16 SERE system for our home. The unit was installed today by 2 highly qualified installers. The work performed was professionally performed. Outside unit required a special platform that was built by Christopher to accommodate the larger compressor. Overall, I am very happy with the outcome of the installation---especially since the old unit had to fail when a heat wave has settled into the region.

My HVAC (both AC and furnace) died on a hot summer day, so I had to replace the whole unit in a relatively short time. Air 1 professionally delivered at a very reasonable price. Throughout the whole process, starting from the first call to schedule an appointment for a free in-home estimate to a follow-up call after installation, their service was excellent and professional in every step.

Our A/C unit suddenly stopped working and it was a HOT day! I called Air 1 because they have very good online reviews -- I was not disappointed. I was so surprised when they said they would have someone at my home within 1-3 hours. The employees were professional and explained everything we needed to have done. Our new HVAC system works perfectly and the price was very reasonable. It took some time to install the new HVAC system and the AIR 1 guys never once complained that my two little yappy dogs were going nuts barking almost the entire time :). Gotta love the little dogs. Would definitely recommend Air 1.

Air 1 Mechanical has the most customer service oriented staff, they are always prompt on responding to service calls, and they follow thru on what they promise. The staff is experienced, they are genuine and truly care about their customer. They are always prompt on scheduling the service calls and always put the customer first. My experiences with Air 1 have been consistently positive, I used their services for HVAC heating, cooling and plumbing needs, they are personable, they have reasonable pricing and they provide excellent customer service.
They truly care of their customer´s situation and they do their best to make the repairs no matter how long it takes, their goal is for the customer´s issue to be resolved right away. My personal experiences with Air 1 Mechanical have been very positive, they have delivered above my expectations every time.
Their technicians are skilled and well trained, they have diagnosed some issues when other technicians have not being able to diagnose, and they are able to make the repairs on site, because they are prepared and have the parts available, so they are very efficient.

We had an issue with the HVAC unit over the weekend with no heat on a really cold and rainy Saturday. We have a dual fuel setup with gas furnace and a heat pump. We called a few contractors but Air 1 recognized our predicament and sent out one of their techs. Marc was very prompt and sent a text that he was on his way. He thoroughly analyzed the problem and came up with a solution that allowed us to use the gas furnace temporarily. He noted some issues with how the dual fuel unit was set up and suggested some work-arounds. I will be scheduling another time for A1 Tech to come back and fix the problem permanently. :)

I’ve used Air 1 multiple times between two properties and have experienced nothing but exceptional service. The last call was placed at 0600 on a Saturday where I intended to only leave a message and they answered and had a technician at our house by 1000. Excellent service and highly recommend.
