I am very pleased with my experience! Nick and his assistant (sorry I didn’t get your name!) were punctual and extremely professional. They were sure to cover their shoes without asking and were able to identify and resolve my problem quickly. Very friendly! I would definitely recommend this company.

Nick and his team member came out within three hours of my call being placed. They quickly identified and fixed the leak in my kitchen and addressed concerns I had about my shower drain. Nick explained everything in easy to understand terms and was very professional throughout the entire service. I am VERY pleased with Philbrick!!

Very professional mechanic but after I paid for the service call, purchased the needed shower valve $$....the estimated hourly rate tripled in two days. Too expensive😳 a 1k job! Declined the the service repair. Merry Christmas to us!😞

My son-in-law requested a service call for a water heater pilot light issue. The charge was about $80. This is my understanding of the visit. The tech did not disassemble, inspect, or test anything. He checked the tank nameplate and said it was old (subjective) an could be replaced for about $2500. Or he could replace the burner for $400-500. I'm the family fix-it guy, although I don't have any gas water heater experience, so my son-in-law called for an opinion. So I did some research on my own. It appeared the thermocouple was the likely issue, so we did some more research, found the correct part number, bought one, and installed it ourselves for under $90 and in about 30 minutes. If Philbrick has tested the system and said they could replace the pilot assembly for a $150-$200, that would have been good service. But instead they said the equivalent of your car battery is dead so you need to buy a new car. Sure, a new tank would have solved the problem, but I would like to find a company that says here's your problem and here's some "legitimate" options for repair, not the most expensive option that really isn't needed.

Nick and Drew were excellent! They provided fast and thorough service, as well as much needed education regarding my plumbing. More importantly, Vera, Office Manager, was willing to help me get same day service despite my inability to pay on the same day!! Thank you Philbrick for managing all of my needs

Philbrick Heating and Cooling replaced my downstairs ac/heat unit as my older one had a compressor that went bad and would have been too costly to repair. Replacing the entire system was a bit more than repairing the 9 year low quality unit, however the price includes a top of the line unit, an excellent parts, repair and labor warranty and will be approximately 30% more cost efficient.

Tim Hatfield provided excellent information on the pros and cons of repairing versus replacing. He was able to meet at my house in the evening time as that was the only way to accommodate my busy schedule. Tim was not at all a high pressure salesperson. Instead, he shared his expertise, was honest and took the time to explain about the differences in models, types of gas connections, and by the end of our meeting was able to provide me with a final install cost and financing incentives. Tim was able to schedule the install before he left my home.
The installers arrived promptly at their scheduled time, introduced themselves and quickly went to work. They removed the existing unit inside the garage and outside the house a replaced them with new units and installed and programmed a new digital thermostat. They worked from inside and under the house to replace the existing duct work to ensure maximum efficiency of my new unit.
When the installers completed the job, there was no sign of them being there. They removed all the old unit pieces, venting material and no debris was left inside my home or out.
Job well done Philbrick Heating and Cooling!! You have exceeded the expectations of this customer and I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know. Thank you for making my home air and heating comfortable again.

We recently had two jobs done for us by Philbrick. Nick and Marcus handled both and did a great job both times. They were professional and thorough. They kept the work area neat and clean and cleaned up everything when they were finished. We highly recommend Philbrick for your plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical needs.

Very Poor Customer Service! - All it would take is a phone call. We had Philbrick install a heat and A/C system in the early 90's so when it needed replaced we called them again. The new and improved Rheem system has had to be worked on at least 5 times in 5 years, with the latest being a replacement of the cooling coil (under warranty). My real issue is they have been a No Show to appointments Twice! Back in December we set an appointment - I took a day off work (no pay) and they didn't show. When called they had scheduled the appointment a week later. Yesterday they were to be there at 0830 for 3 hours - 9:00 we call them and they tell us a job had run over from the day before, but the could be there between 12 and 2:00. OK I will take a whole day off again (no pay) so I can get my A/C fixed. At 1:30 I call them and they tell me the technician will be there by 2:00, at 3:00 he pulls in my driveway. Not 1 call was initiated by Philbrick to let me know they would be late - I could have gone to work and left early had I known they were not coming until 3 PM. To top it all off - my under warranty repair cost me $437 after their "we are very sorry" 10% discount.

This is a tough review to write because it will sound like I am either a family member or an employee but I am neither. Last week I noticed water dripping and a large tear on my bathroom ceiling. 2 hot water heaters are above in my attic. It was right after the week or 10 to 20 degree weather so I had no idea what to expect. I called you all at 8:40 and they had someone in the area. He showed up at 9:20 (less than an hour). He went in the attic and took several pictures of what was the cause. (I had 14 years of use on 8 year water heaters previously installed by Philbrick) I was given the estimate, ok'd the work to be done and then told it would be done later at 3 or 4 that day. In about 40 minutes another crew dropped off all the parts in my driveway. As I was moving a few items out of their way my cell phone rang. They had rearranged their day to take care of my emergency earlier and could be there around noon. It took 3 technicians 4-5 hours to replace both units and installing a new safety pan. All the tearing out and replacing was done without any issue. The guys were very carful moving everything around and we had hardly any cleanup to do...even with white carpet. I didn't even have to handle the old units. The guys did everything. I have repeated this many times and would HIGHLY recommend this company. I knew they were a good solid company but with this last job they are the BEST company. My wife and I thank you all very much.

The gentlemen that came to our house for two bathroom remodels worked with us through scheduling conflicts and finished both bathrooms in a jiffy! The price was excellent and the work was outstanding! Even when we had a minor issue months later, they came right out and fixed it! Lee, John, and the amazing Father and son team took care of all our bathroom remodel needs and even put up with us changing our minds over and over again!
