We bought an older home and wanted to have the heating and AC checked out to make sure it was running properly. We called Steve at Evergreen and he was prompt, knowledgeable, and very helpful in getting me acquainted with the equipment. Over the past year Evergreen installed a UV light to remove any bacteria and most recently helped upgrade the thermostat to a much more intuitive model. The service agreement means someone will respond quickly to any issues and it includes scheduled maintenance to keep the systems running at peak performance. If you need help with your systems, give them a call!

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Steve is. His customer service and smiley face put my whole stress level at ease. He fixed my AC problem in less than 15 minutes all while offering exceptional service and professionalism. Evergreen was one of two companies I got a quote from for a new indoor outdoor replacement on our heat pump system which was almost 15 years old.
Steve, the owner, suggested a much better unit than the other company was going to install and it was only a slight bit more the the other unit. Then surprisingly I got several extras I didn’t expect, one, a blanket for the compressor which made it even more quiet, an updated thermostat that was even programmable and an ultraviolet light placed in the bottom of the indoor unit that kills mold and mildew before getting into the vent work!!
Then, he called a few days later and said he’d like to come over and check to see how everything was running, if I had any questions or problems at all.
He made a couple of minor tweaks to the system and now it’s running like a Swiss watch! It’s obvious that Steve knows what he’s doing and loves what he’s doing as well then strives for perfection in all of it!!
You won’t find a better, more conscientious company anywhere.

I just installed new Ecobee smart thermostats and I've been getting notifications that the aux heat was running too long so I gave them a call. They were very responsive, quick, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. Fortunately, there wasn't any issues that needed repair, just some configuration tweaks and stuff. But I'm 100% calling them again if I have any issues and/or for maintenance

Steve has always been prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful in explaining anything he finds (or doesn't). I have a maintenance plan and have enjoyed having Steve regularly service the HVAC system and make sure everything is working properly.

I wanted an old home AC unit replaced with a HVAC unit so I searched online to find a family owned company and found Evergreen Heating and Air (Mechanicsville, VA). I called Steve (owner) and asked for an estimate and he came to our home the next day. He was prompt, professional and informative. After he thoroughly looked over the air handler in the attic, the condenser unit outside, air vents, returns and the panel box we chatted. Steve was patient in explaining the necessity of having several altercations made to the current system so as not to compromise the new unit as well as to provide better air movement for heating and cooling throughout the house. An estimate arrived via email 2 days after he left. The installation was started 2 days after accepting his estimate. We didn't know an Electrician so Steve referred us to an exceptional family owned business that we contracted with to do the necessary wiring upgrade. The HVAC install took a couple days and went flawlessly. We find Evergreen Heating and Air to be an outstanding and exceptional business. Steve has good communication skills, is prompt, respectful of the home and occupants, honest and patient in offering to do the necessary work to take care of his customers. Our home was left as clean as when Steve arrived. No mess left behind. I highly recommend Evergreen Heating and Air to anyone looking for a quality job. Prices are reasonable and affordable. We highly recommend Evergreen Heating and Air.

Could not recommend more! Our heat went out shortly after the new year, I called Evergreen Heating and Air and that day Steve was out to look at our unit. He figured out quickly what happened to our unit and ordered parts for the repair. The parts took a few days to arrive but as soon as they did, he was back to fix our fan and motor. He was always on time with the windows provided, excellent communication in between appointments, he explained everything in detail for me and provided helpful recommendations. Will definitely call again in the future!

Evergreen Heating and Air did a great job fixing my broken AC unit. I called for a service appointment and they were able to come out in less than 24 hours. Service was quick, professional, very cost effective. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Evergreen fixing my AC and making our house cool again.

Called up Steve @ Evergreen on a reference for a difficult dryer vent repair project. Prompt response from Steve, he sent the quote sooner than promised (reminder email from him led my to find in jammed up in my spam). The work was reasonably priced and easily scheduled. Best of all the fix was thorough (took pictures and sent during the repair) and now the problem is resolved. Our dryer running better, vented correctly and no more worries. I will definitely be calling on Evergreen again for my HVAC needs, you should not hesitate to do the same.

I had Evergreen Heating and Air install my new HVAC system. These guys put in a lot of hard work all day and I'm very pleased with result. Steve the owner sent me pictures and kept me updated all through the process. After the thermostat was installed Steve made sure I knew everything about the thermostat. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Evergreen Heating and Air in the future
