High quality, no language barrier, very professional, but expensive (from my perspective as a new home owner). They have what feels like “anti-compete” measures that prevent you from shopping around for other contractors by not giving any pricing info upfront, and requiring a $100 non refundable deposit for a quote that goes towards work done. I couldn’t determine their hourly rate, parts markup, visit cost, etc. When they came out they quoted me over $300 to open up the drywall and take a look, and over $300 to replace a few parts in one of my toilets. These were holistic, non-itemized, all-inclusive quotes. I declined the toilet part replacement but opted for the drywall which only turned out to take about an hour which made the price seem high. Thankfully, it was an old leak and everything turned out alright. Overall, I give M.E. Flow 4 stars because of the professionalism and etiquette, however I deducted one star because I’d appreciate more upfront transparency on pricing.
Xavier was courteous and explained the repair in advance. He also provided me with alternative options and gave me an estimate on some other potential work. He provided a great deal of clarity on the work. He was a very good technician. Thank you!
The ME Flow diagnostic tech said my HVAC system was broken and I needed a new system. These diagnostics took about 45 minutes, and I was charged $123. He was a nice guy. However, he told me I could not get any heat to my house. Needless to say, I was not able to stay at my home because the weather was getting colder. An hour after the diagnostic guy left, a salesperson showed up from ME Flow. He gave me an OUTRAGEOUS PRICE. I said to myself, NO WAY. 3 days later, Northern VA Air Conditioning came to my house and turned on the emergency heat within 5 minutes. Something ME Flow did not do. Ultimately we went with McCarthy Service. Honest price was welcomed.
This is not the first time I use M. E. Flow, inc services. I find this company very responsible and on time! I reported my problem early in the morning and the same day at 4pm my problem was solved! Loved it!
Needed a garbage disposal replaced. Given a 12-5 window. They called at 1 saying they would be there in 20. Saw the technician drive by 20 minutes later and then never show up. Had to call. Finally at 2 he comes to the door. Looks at the garbage disposal and gives me 3 options - $999, $899 or $800 to replace. I said a new disposal cost $130 at Home Depot but he told me I was getting a one year warranty (which you get anyway when you buy it) and that it was for the service and replacement and to join their club. I reluctantly paid the $99 service call fee and sent him away. A handyman came the next day - replaced the disposal in 30 minutes and it cost $420 (including the new disposal)!!!!!
ME Flow has been providing routine maintenance of our HVAC systems for over 20 years. Technicians are always on time and professional. Have also used ME Flow to replace equipment as necessary. Highly recommend!
The installation was scheduled promptly. The master plumber (Xavier) did a great job. The job was very clean and neat. The county inspector also remarked that the work performed was a top notch installation. I will definitely contact ME Flow again for future needs, if any. Also great follow-up by the administrative office, after the work was completed!
The technician did a good and thorough job, and I was satisfied with his work. On another note, M.E. Flow did not prepare me when they sold me this system for the expenses of maintaining it. Charging $450 for replacement bulbs is extreme.
Moises and Emerson, ME Flow technicians, performed an annual inspection of my HVAC unit this afternoon. They were courteous, efficient, professional and friendly. Superb customer service.
Today I'm giving 4 stars because of the Is technician "Lincoln". He was very knowledgeable very friendly and he explained things in a way I can understand. He stayed longer than I've ever had another technician from any company stay for just a routine maintenance warranty check up. You can tell he is just a very thorough person. His company should be happy to have him. I hope that his company Operates the same way he does, and if they do they will have a long time customer.
