Chandler's Plumbing & Heating

Chandler’s installed a new water heater, and they have been my plumber for years. They are the only plumbers who have been able to handle my 1925 house! Everyone throughout the process is polite and competent , too

I originally called Chandlers for a plumbing repair (the main drain valve snapped off inside the basement walls at the foundation - presumably from the earthquake we had in 2011). They were the only company that said it could be fixed without jack hammering open the basement. They did an amazing job at a fraction of the price everybody else wanted. Because of that I decided to continue using them for my heating and cooling as well. I have an old plaster house with radiant heat and a small duct high velocity (SDHV) air conditioning system. Chandlers installed baseboard radiators in my finished basement as a 2nd zone in my house. OMG...that made all the difference in the world! Now my basement has its own thermostat and can be comfortable without boiling up the rest of the house. A few years back I let my maintenance contract lapse and I spent 2 days without heat during a cold snap when the igniter died on my furnace. Every company, including Chandlers, gives customers with maintenance contracts highest priority for emergency visits. Chandlers was still the first to respond, but it was a COLD 48 hours. I will never lapse on that contract again!

They damaged the AC unit and have not repaired it. We had them come out for an annual inspection. The inspection shows everything as good however the technician shorted the condenser motor on exit. The second technician diagnosed it as shorted and the breaker tripped. They decided to present a $4100 proposal to correct their mistake but they don't plan on paying it.

We used them to install a waterline to our refrigerator. Previous installation was sloppy- poked hole in tile and ran a line from a poorly placed valve. Chandlers installed a valve box behind the fridge and ran a new copper line. Install is clean and easier to service.

This company is the best. The just come thru for me time after time. First they fixed a problem heating system for $2k that 3 other HVAC companies said would cost $8-10k. Today they are here an hour after I called to fix a blocked sewer line. They never over charge, always fix the problem properly and are respectful of the house. I can't say enough good things.

I needed a master electrician to check wiring and replace a ceiling fan at a reasonable price. Nick was great. He was thorough and knowledgeable.
