I recently had my HVAC system replaced and while these systems are generally quite expensive no matter who you go with; it’s the customer service, warranty and approach that seals the deal for me. After a horrible experience with American Home Shield and their sloppy, unprofessional contractors doing patch jobs on my system which clearly needed replacing, I contacted 4 contractors in my area and for professionalism, quality, customer service, honest approach and even pricing - you can’t get better than Stokley’s. Their team was amazing and even their follow-up after the install - making sure all was to my satisfaction. Also best warranty of all the companies I contacted. Go with Stokley’s - you will not be disappointed.

I contacted Rob Short of Stokley's Services in June to get an estimate on a full replacement of my existing heat pump system (including ducting) and conversion to an AC/Gas Heat system. He came out and did a thorough walk-thru and provided me a very reasonable quote a couple days later. We discussed when to do the job and agreed that late fall would be the best weather and availability. I contacted him again in early October and received information I needed to get my gas meter installed. We decided on an install date and I put half down on the quote.
On October 26th, Angelo, Dominique, and Marty (a.k.a. NightLight) arrived bright and early to begin demolition and system mapping. I was at work for most of the day while they were here, but I got updates each afternoon on what they got done that day and what they were planning to do the next day. Angelo was the team leader and has a firm grasp on the project status at all times. He kept the task on track and always has a smile handy.
I took the opportunity to informally inspect much of the work as they progressed and was impressed with their level of skill and craftsmanship: Sheet-metal work, electrical connections, gas-line fabrication, air-duct construction and assembly. Everything was done logically, and professionally. I also asked, being that my house did not have gas lines installed yet, that they install the pipe in a path that will make future gas connections for water, dryer, oven, and generator easy to do. They installed capped tee connections in the gas line along the way for my future convenience. The gas line is currently being pressure tested and will maintain air pressure for a few days until the gas company certifies it. That's peace of mind. We tested the airflow in the duct system and every vent had a nearly identical flow rate. You don't get that kind of precision by accident.
When the job was done Angelo made sure that nothing was left behind, the work area was cleaner than when they started, and I had appropriate instructions for the pending gas company certification. I am 100% satisfied with the quality and value of my new high efficiency heating and cooling system. I would (and have in the past) recommend Stokley's to anyone...anytime.
Update I no longer trust this company. Air conditioner broke they sent a guy out to fix it he didn't even do anything he said It was 15 years old you need a new one here's an estimate for $8000. Neighbor is an HVAC technician came down change the capacitor for $100 ran fine no more problems.

In 2020 I was going through AC company after AC company trying to get my finicky Goodman's to function reliably. I called Stokley's and they sent out Jerry. He was the first ever HVAC mechanic who didn't knock on the door after 10min with a thousand dollar repair recommendation. He told me what he saw, what he thought was causing the issue, explained everything at my level and gave recommendations for multiple different courses of action to repair.
A few months down the road, I called for replacement options. Rob Shortt, the owner, spent probably an hour with me on that first phone call talking about different options. They replaced the split unit for upstairs. The only issue was a foot through the ceiling, to which a drywall contractor contacted me that evening to schedule repairs.
A few months later they replaced the downstairs package unit. Only issue with that was some missed caulking on the ducting from unit to wall. Sent Rob an email and the next day when I got home from work, it was taken care of.
It's awesome to talk to an owner (more than just once to make a sale), it's encouraging to see happy employees on-site and in the office. I am happy I found the company and my neighbor I recommended them to is beyond happy as well.

First let me say that the technicians that I have had over the last several years have been very good. Recently called about my AC condenser fan was not running. I assumed it was the capacitor and the technician said it checked out fine and he thought the fan motor was bad. He tried to get the AC unit model, although the data was faded. He did get the data off of the fan motor itself and said he would have the office look for the fan. After two days I was contacted and told they could not match up the fan motor without the unit model number. I was told that since the unit was so old, beyond 10 years, I should consider replacing it. I asked why the motor data would not be sufficient and was told there could be variations. He recommended that I consider replacing it soon because pricing would be increasing substantially after the first of the year and availability would potentially be longer. Recently I decided to look for the motor myself based upon the model data on the motor. I was able to find the exact replacement in 10 minutes online. I was able to successfully replace it myself with little effort. I wish they had put forth the minimal effort to find the replacement as I had.
On December 31st, 2019 I woke up to a cold house. Called Stokley's, and in a couple hours 2 HVAC techs arrived at my house to evaluate my 20 year old system. Based on my system's problems and age they reccomended a new system. I agreed. On 2 January 2020, 3 techs showed up and by early afternoon had replaced my old system. The techs were polite, professional and answered every question. Thanks Jerry, Angelo, Nick, and Jahmad! This is the type of service I have come to expect from Stokley's and why I have been with Stokley's for over 30 years now.
From Nicole in office to Tracy at house, service was personalized, knowledgeable, helpful, and I received good answers to my questions and excellent advice to help me plan future maintenance and upgrades.
Stockley's came out to recharge my system on my electric heat pump. They got there quite quickly and noted the compressor on the system was not functioning and checked the amperage, which was very low.
I did not end up using Stockley's for any services but did have a billing issue and was impressed by how willing to help the staff was.
