This company came out to my house when it was well over 90 degrees and my ac unit was not working. It was around 10pm at night and they were the only one that offer to come out and check out my unit out of the 5 companies I contacted that night. The technician was very kind and knowledgeable and was able to fix my unit on the spot. Thanks HCEC, I will definitely recommend your company to all of my family and friends!

Was assigned this group from home warranty company. Complete trash. Told me the only way they get paid is the $95 service charge on the initial visit. Came back to replace air handler, removed my old unit, then walked inside with a $1300 oh by the way bill, and told me if i didnt pay them, then they pack up and take off, with my current heater air handler sitting on the curb and the new unit sitting in the van. We called the company who then told us the bill was actually $1608. They had to call eachother and get on the same page with around $1400. The two technicians had trouble with the install because of an issue with a sensor. Had to call in the original guy who told me they only get money from the $95. They then realized what the problem was, made a work around and said they would come back the next day. Which they did not due. I called to reschedule for the next day. Sat it aside, not call no show yet again. I called and rescheduled once more, to no avail as they were a no call no show the next day. I got a voicemail at about 8:50 that night asking if it was too late to come work on my air handler in my attic lol. Haven't called back to reschedule and I wont be. Felt extremely scammy the entire time from start to finish. Charged me almost $100 to clean out the drain line AKA blow compressed air in the line lol I have an air compessor in my garage things I could have had done and saved on but they decide to high pressure sales you into having them do the work by holding your old unit hostage in your front yard. If you get this group call immediately and cancel and if your Home Warrant company gives them to you ask for a new one. Be aware of hidden fees

Unfortunately, we were referred to HCEC Group LLC from our warranty company. We waited 12 days from the time we placed the original service order for our furnace. After no response I followed up after Christmas. They scheduled an appt to come out to repair the furnace but never showed up. By then our house was 50 degrees inside. Long story short they finally "fixed" the furnace at pm the following day, however, it is now out again 2 days later. I would not think about using this company again. The repair guys were great but the customer service is TERRIBLE!

I had this company come to my house to checkout my air conditioning unit through my warranty company. The technician arrive promptly during the time frame provided to me to check out my system. He thoroughly explained to me the issue with my unit and luckly he had the part I needed on his truck. My air conditioning unit is fixed and my family is no longer hot. I highly RECOMMEND this company and I will DEFINITELY use them in the future!

This company was absolutely amazing! My husband was out to sea when my HVAC unit decided to go out on me. They sent out a gentleman named Mike who took his time and explained everything to me and my husband (while over seas). The install was done the same day. I also want to thank Antwain for the great job installing my new system . I will definitely be using your company again and recommending this company to all my family and friends. Thankful I found your company!

HORRIBLE! Absolutely the worst HCEC Company in Virginia, (Hampton Roads Area) Antwain Chatman, the owner hide behind his phone will not return your call.Started out good. Got my $3,600 install the unit IT DID NOT WORK FROM DAY ONE OF INSTALL. Gave me nothing but lies about coming back out to fix the problem. 22 DAYS went by remember he has my money. Every time a technician was suppose to show up they DID NOT. I had to start my civil lawsuit procedures for them to come back out. They delayed my house being finish over three week because of no heat. RUN DO NOT USE THEM. They had the wrong pump tired to install it for over 4 hours. Plug the unit into a 110 outlet. I have never had a big problem like this with my heat. I wish I could give NO STAR. The bad part is I have One year Warranty on my Unit with them. I hate this HCEC Group. If your HOME WARRANTY send Antwain Chatman Tell the NO!

Because they were referred to me by a home warranty company, I was suspicious that they'd offer top notch service, especially when my incident occurred during the weekend and no one returned my calls. However, the technician and office staff were very professional and helpful during my repair process. I wish the home warranty company was as responsive.

Mike did a thorough check of my HVAC system and found that the Heat Pump was missing wires and not working. The Air Handler wiring was too small and was burnt. The HVAC system had never worked properly for over one year. The system was installed by an investor group and was installed 2013. System was a Builder Grade purchased as a closeout by the Manufacturer,with NO warranty. Without not knowing what else might be wrong with the system it does not take a mathematician to realize that the least expensive option was to replace the entire system. Mike worked with us and got us a great price with a 10 year warranty. Now we can sleep at night knowing that we have a system that we can depend on. Thanks to all HCEC people who made this possible.

Three appointments resulted in three NO SHOWS. No call, no email, no contact of any kind. For each appointment, I had to reschedule my life so I could sit at home for a four hour window of time. I have three kiddos. This is crazy.

Each time, I have called the company to find out what happened and they basically act like they don’t have time for me. Not once did the customer service rep apologize or offer an explanation. She just kept telling me that their policy is to schedule in four hour windows because they can’t guarantee how long things will take. I asked if it was also their policy to not show up or alert their customers about a change. She got very rude after that.

I would advise avoiding this company and their terrible customer service. Save yourself a tremendous amount of time.

Called them today for an estimate for a hot water heater in attic, for told I can have someone out between now 12-6, they will call 30 minutes prior, thanks for wasting my day when I could have been out doing errands. No phone call nothing, you just lost a job, as we’re desperate at this point as no hot water heater for 2 weeks. If someone doesn’t want to get
