Alex was very professional, conscientious and personable. He had a tricky repair job on an outside water spigot and didn’t stop until the job was done.

Brian and Craig were absolutely amazing!! These guys were on-time, extremely professional and polite. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and smoother process. Top notch service and they did an exceptional job installing my water filtration and softening system with no hiccups at all! Definitely recommend Cardinal Plumbing and HVAC to anyone needing flawless service…. And do you yourself a favor, request Brian and Craig!

Brian was amazing! He work was through and he conducted himself with outmost professionalism. He provided us with all the available options for hooking up our washer and dryer in the basement. We recommend working with him.

We called Cardinal Plumbing when our water heater unexpectedly broke. The technician came out and said that we needed to replace the gas valve, so I called the manufacturer for the part, and the same technician came back to install it.

What the technician failed to tell me was that the replacement part was also defective, but he installed it anyways. He didn’t tell me it was defective until after it was installed and he was asking for payment.

Had I known that there was something wrong with the part, I would have asked him not to do the installation until we got another part in. So now I have to pay a second time to get a new part that isn’t broken installed (each installation costs $563.00).

I would recommend being cautious with this company and making sure the technician keeps you informed throughout the repair process.

I called Cardinal based on their high Google reviews and their quick availability. I had a technician who came out today, who was great and my score is not based on him! I needed the TP valve replaced on my 60 gal hot water heater and I didn't have the time to do it myself. I called Cardinal and they explained that it would be a $79 diagnostic fee + repair service. I thought this was odd as I already knew what the problem was and the diagnostic fee was separate and in addition to the repair cost. Pressed for time, I agreed. The technician came out and said there were 2 options, replace the TP valve or entire water heater. Quoted me $705 (!!!) for the valve or $3750(!!!!) for the water heater. I opted for the valve replacement. It took him about an hour to drain the heater some and replace the valve. What should have been a $200-$250 job was over $700. I understand markups, but a nearly 4x markup is criminal. Also, for awareness, it should be about $1500 to replace a water heater (they cost about $600) + labor. Will never be calling Cardinal and won't recommend them to any friends/family.

If you want to spend 3-4x what you should, then go with Cardinal; otherwise, shop around (or YouTube the fix!).

Contacted Cardinal due to increased condensation on AC unit. Cardinal overall was very responsive and provided updates on my appointment. I especially appreciated Cardinal sending information & a picture of the person who would be conducting the service. Carlos was the second person to come out, he was very professional and informative. We will have to wait awhile to see if the issue resolves but felt confident in the options he provided if the issue persisted (without him trying to sell us another service) even if it was to use another company to address the problem. Definitely would recommend company!

Cardinal Plumbing was recommended to me by my sister and my experience with them was excellent. I received a text message with a picture of my service technician before he arrived. Shortly after, Kyle made a courtesy call to confirm the issue and to make sure he had the parts needed to complete the project without having to go out again for additional parts. Kyle and Shawn were both friendly and courteous. I had a secondary issue that I brought up while they were here and they attended to it quickly. After assessing the two issues, Kyle gave me some options for our garbage disposal and provided a good explanation of each product so I could make an informed decision. Kyle and Shawn worked quickly and efficiently to fix the problems. They did a good job explaining billing and acknowledgment of services. I really appreciated their help. On a follow up visit to install cartridges, Kyle was extremely helpful. He installed the cartridges, and then checked on two smaller issues that I had noticed in the meantime. He also provided useful information about how to prevent future issues, as well as what to look for in the event of a water backup. I will continue to use Cardinal Plumbing in the future.
