I am so happy to have found this company. We called a large business in Utah come out and look at our furnace when it wouldn't start up. They said it could be the igniter and a bunch of other repairs. It could cost a thousand possibly more. Because our furnace is old, we said is it worth repairing. He said he could have his manager come by and give us pricing to not throw money at an old unit. The manager came right over and gave us some very high prices on replacing it and the AC. The price seemed so high price, it was worth getting a second opinion. I called an inspector I'd worked with in the past and he said some of these large companies give you the high prices for repairs to get you to want to replace it. He said call Hansen's they're honest and will repair if it's repairable, and give you a reasonable price to replace.
Hansen's came out and put in a new igniter, and it lit right up and they said they could see nothing wrong with it. They said it looked in good shape. The price to do the repair and charge for coming out after hours was very fair. We'll be sure to call Hansen's for future repairs and replacement when the time comes. Extremely pleased.

Hansen is professional, honest and fast! Will use them for all future needs. Here's what happened to me:
In the middle of the winter, our heater went out and we had no way to keep our home warm. It was pretty terrible (and cold:).
I googled top rated heating and air companies. This just goes to show that you can't always trust Google searches because they're often bought out.
I called a company that came up as five stars on Google. They came out and told me I needed an entirely new system and replacement of everything. The quote was over $20k and they charged a fee for coming out. I spoke to a friend who is a big contractor. He recommended calling Hansen and I am extremely glad I did.
Cory was out to my house that same morning. He explained what was going on and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. Not only do I recommend Hansen, I trust them. Cory explained what wasn't working, fixed it, helped me understand my options, and the price was reasonable. I was completely impressed by the service, responsiveness, and professional nature of the visit.
Hansen is honest and that's hard to find today. I highly recommend them!

I would like to thank Corey with Hansen HVAC for helping us replace our HVAC in our home. Corey listened to the issues we’ve had cooling our multi-level home and advised us with options that did not break the bank. He called us quickly after placing our order to arrange the installation. Casey, Kory, Jace, and Chandler showed up on time and ready to work. They were extremely polite and immediately started petting my dogs. They were professional and clean. Over the last 16 years We have used Hansen HVAC for seasonal maintenance, emergency calls on weekends and holidays, gas leaks, HVAC systems, tankless water heater, etc. I will always refer all of my friends, family & clients to them when they need help. You just won’t find a more honest, responsive HVAC company out there.

Hansen HVAC has been my go-to HVAC for years (they installed my AC unit 14 years ago - works great still) and I've recommended them to family and friends but customer service has changed. My water heater (which they installed almost 5 years ago) is leaking from the top. I called to get it serviced and the soonest they can help me was 4 days later. After waiting a day, I have water all over the floor - even after turning off the water and gas to the heater (Thank you to the after hours on-call Hansen tech who recommended doing that - I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't!). I called again this morning and explained what was happening to see if they can get anyone over sooner and was told that 4 days was already squeezing me in and was the soonest they could do. This is the 2nd time that timing has been an issue for them. (I know that no hot water is not an emergency but the water leaking from my water heater all over the floor is heading in that direction.) The first time I called Hansen for an emergency was the morning when raw sewage was flooding my basement. They couldn't get someone until the end of the day. After speaking with the receptionist today and learning that they couldn't get someone there sooner, I told her to cancel my appointment, I'd be going somewhere else. She was indifferent. I called another company and they are coming out today.
(If you can get them to come out, though, they will be great!)

Hansen installed our HVAC several years ago and all parts are supposed to be under warranty. Our AC went out in the middle of an extreme heat advisory and when we called Hansen, they told us it would be 9 days before they could even get out here. We opened windows, bought fans and suffered through. The day they were scheduled to come between 3-5, the technician did not arrive until 540 and showed up in board shorts looking like he had just left the beach. His truck was a disaster when he opened it and he couldn't find what he needed so he informed us he had to run to the shop and would be right back. 45 minutes later he came back, tried whatever out and then informed us our compressor was bad and he would let us know the next day how quick they could get. We had to follow up with them several times the next day before they finally told us it would be more than a week before they could get the parts. At that point, we called a competitor who came out the very next day to look at it and was able to get the parts in 2 days, which was still far sooner than what we had been originally told.
Hansen had no sense of urgency and did not seem very professional in our dealings with them.

I had my thermostat replaced last summer by Josh Sornson. He did this work on the side, but showed up in the Hansen work truck. Josh is very unprofessional, also very rude when I called to explain that my house wasn’t cooling. I’ve been calling for the past 6 months with no answer or call back. I find this very unprofessional. I ended up replacing it myself. Josh represents Hansen. Hopefully this type of employee isn’t the type Hansen hires.

Our local HVAC service guys sucked, luckily my property manager referred me to these guys, Carson drove all the way to Brigham City and replaced a shorting thing-a-ma-jig.

UNBELIEVABLY GOOD SERVICE - I had Corey install all of my homes new construction air ducts and AC unit. Not only did he do a fantastic job with that but about two years later I had a part go bad on my Bryant unit. In my opinion the difference between these guys and the competition is that win some thing happens they are right there to get it fixed for you. I called Corey at about 2 PM in the middle of the August heat and told him that my unit had just gone down. He was at my house with the replacement part installing it himself after hours to help me out because his guys were booked up until the next week. To me this was in valuable service and I would have paid probably just about anything he asked. He did not charge me a single penny and the unit has been operating perfectly since. I would highly recommend this company and I think them for the great service they have provided me.
