BUYER BEWARE!

When it was 100 degrees for a few days in a row our AC went out. My sister recommended Spring Creek so I gave them a call. The nice woman on the phone was polite and said she would send her son the next day. He came and did a 3 second diagnostic. He wanted to charge us $358. to replace the dual run capacitor, plus a dispatch charge of $79 a total of $437.
I called my husband and he said "I'm pretty sure that is a really simple fix, ill look at it when I get home."
Sure enough a total of 6 tiny screws and a $13 dollar part fixed it in less than 5 minutes!! This really bothered me. I can understand that it's a business, but that is an astronomical mark up!
I called the owner to make sure I understood the charges, there was nothing else included. I asked if they cleaned, tuned, or charged the antifreeze. Nothing else was included. He recommend I call some other companies to see what they charge and he said they were better priced than everyone around. Other companies wanted to charge a dispatch fee to check it out and wouldn't give me a price by phone. A quick internet search showed that a dual run capacitor shouldn't cost more than $150 -$ 200, which is fair. I understand there is cost to running a business and you have to pay your tech etc.
I don't really care what others are charging, that kind of mark up is taking total advantage of people that don't know. I feel like this company is maybe beating others in the area by a few bucks and justifying the insane prices that they charge.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DIS HONEST COMPANY.
To make me feel better they discounted my dispatch fee to $39.00. I would have paid they $79 without a problem because they were able to tell me what was wrong. Knowing what I know now. I will always do a youtube search first. A bit of education gives you power.

Ben from Spring Creek came and did a tune up on our furnace, which was blowing cold air. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems, replaced the filter, and the house has been warm and cozy ever since!

They told me their technician would get there at 2:00 p.m. and he came exactly at 2:00 p.m., a very impressive level of punctuality for a home repair professional. We had an AC go out in the middle of this heat wave and Spring Creek Mechanical was there the same day to look at it and they had the AC we needed on hand and re-arranged their schedule to replace it the next day. My AC/Furnace was installed 2 years ago. My AC had a slow leak in the refrigerant line at one of the joints they soldered. Spring Creek has a 1 year labor warranty, and Ben, the tech spoke to the owner, and took ownership of the problem. He recognized that it was something they did and fixed the issue on their dime. This company is a company of integrity and one that I will do business with in the future. Plus a great price for a Lenox system. Spring Creek Mechanical you are spot on!!!

Brent and Ben were good to work with. They quickly identified the problem with my broken A/C and gave me a bid. They were professional, knowledgeable and the install went smoothly. Having a cool house again is great.

We only had a short amount of time to get these serviced before we closed on the home. Spring creek mechanical was out the next day. They were on time. And was able to get everything ready for the clients. One very important reason I referred spring creek mechanical to my clients is because they are honest and they do not try and upsell to get a new furnace or new air conditioner when it is not needed

Called right after they opened at 9 on December 27 for my dryer vent to be cleaned. Joe called before he came and cleared my vent. Everything was done before noon the same day. Very kind and professional and my dryer is working so much better. I thought I would have to wait until after the holidays. I highly recommend this group.

I needed help lastSeptember with a rental. We could not get anyone else to respond in a timely manner. The grandfather of this family owned business was helping a family next door. After talking with him I called for an appointment. We have used them three times now and have found their expertise, service and pricing more than fair. Would recommend them to everyone.
