Jmac installed my radiator a few years ago. Had some questions about a crack in my radiator fan shroud(finger protector) and Keith came out and took a look at my car, I learned that the fan shroud was original and can usually only be purchased at a dealer, he saw that the fan clutch was worn out and of much greater concern than the shroud. He gave me some other advise and wished me well. No charge. Great shop.

I'm having issues with a probable head gasket leak. These guys evaluated my car, and topped off my radiator at no charge. I appreciate the effort since it's not even a repair they do in house

I don’t write reviews but I feel the need to advise people in advance of my experience I had with this shop.

I had taken my BMW X5 into their shop to run a diagnostics on my AC. Before hand I had done my fair share of doing my own inspection to see if it was something I could easily fix or narrow down the part that was causing the ac not to blow cold. I had no leaks whatsoever as far as actual fluids and really i couldn’t tell if the AC was leaking refriderent Bc I would need special glass to tell if it was.

I took it into Jmac and left my car for them to run there inspection. I got a call from them later saying that they wouldn’t be able proceed Bc they weren’t able to get to the compressor and it was very difficult for them to do the job. Which kind of made me think why would they spealize in ac repair and try and run a diagnostic possibly knowing they can repair it. Anyways

They didn’t charge me for a diagnostics Bc they say there wasn’t any work done. But before I had left. The mechanic I believe who was trying to figure out what was wrong told me I had a huge leak. And that there was fluid leaking everywhere. -Keep in mind that I didn’t a very thorough check of my whole engine before and I had absolutely no fluid leaks dripping from anywhere.

I didn’t think too much of what they said. Bc I thot it was just refrigerant leaking on the compressor. Jmac referred me to a shop who specializes in Europe cars. I set the appointment the next day for my car to be seen by them.

The next morning pulling out. There was a huge leak under my vehicle. Tons of fluid of really didn’t know. I didn’t think too much of it just wanted to get the car the shop to figure out what was going on with the Ac.

Precision European auto pulled my vehicle in. While pulling in my vehicle he could tell the power steering was very low. Also driving into his shop there was a puddle of fluids leading into his shop while he parked the car in the garage to run daig. Apond futher inspection. The mechanic had told me that someone had tampered with one of the pulleys that had caused one of the belts to rub up against one of the tubes. Then causing the hose to burst. Which explained all the new fluids that were leaking from my car. He explained that one of the tubes was very close to the compressor and that there was def something that was moved to cause the hose to bust and leak fluids. He also explained that if someone was to run a diagnostics -in my case -Jmac they would have possibly touched and moved the part that was leaking fluid. -jack at this shop was very kind and didn’t really want to point the figures but it is very clear and obvious that Jmac tampered with my vechile. Obviously something went bad where they didn’t want to be liable for.

They then pond me off to another shop to avoid conflict of what they did. I mean why the hell would you specialize in Ac repair and then all of sudden tell me something is leaking very bad. Which I never had a leak of my power steering fluid.

I do not recommend this place at all. Very shady. Dishonest. And will throw you to another shop if they break something in your car. They will not tell you either. In my case Jack Iat the new shop was kind enough to share the truth and actually show me what had happened.

Beware of this place!!

I'm here to fix mistake other shop made. Even though they may not be able to do it(warranty issues) I'm impressed with the way I was treated.they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and to me that's worth a lot

What can I say other than my experience was excellent I received fast friendly service and most important I got the right part so if you need a radiator these are your people

Very honest and, even told me of a place to get a new tank cheaper than what they would have charged me to get my fuel tank useable.

I love this place they hooked me up with a radiator and even though it was twice the price of ordering one on Amazon it's worth the money kuz got the perfect for no problems the first time and told me that it came with one year warranty but in two years if had any issues they would work with me one an extended warranty on new radiator I purchased from them....I'm definitely going to bring them my business for any future radiator needs and issues and highly recommend to any of my friends with similar needs....tank you again Eric @ J-Mac radiator

These guys fixed my AC for a reasonable price after others tried to charge me 3x the amount.

I brought my 350Z to J-MAC after trying the dealer first (Ken Garff Nissan) and getting a ridiculous quote (over $600) to fix a missing garter spring; Nissan doesn't sell the garter springs so the dealer just replaces entire sections of the AC piping instead of buying a $0.99 part at Autozone.

J-MAC didn't feed me this nonsense and just fixed the garter spring and charged my AC.

I took my van into them because I wasn't getting cold air going uphill, or while at idle, they said I would need a new AC condenser. It helped the problem but wasn't to factory spec. The reason I gave them 1 star is that about a month later I noticed I was leading transmission fluid from the Transmission cooler. I took it to my transmission guy and he said that "who ever replaced the condenser just zip tied the transmission cooler back into place instead of installing it properly. I called J-Mac, and they said they would never Zip Tie it, but it is purely a process of elimination they were the last ones under the hood and they would have needed to remove the cooler to replace the condenser. I am going to have Todd at Aamco in sandy fix the problem $140 because I know I can trust him.
Based on my experience and the other reviews I have read I would stay away.
