I initially scheduled a tech to come out between 12-4 pm yesterday to look at my furnace. Tech did not show and then I was told he would come out after hours without that after hours charge. I received a call later that night that he would not be able to make it. I was rescheduled until today between 12-2. The tech did not show up until after 5. He took a look at things and before telling me what was wrong, told me that the furnace was locked out and he would charge me $80 instead of the $39 diagnostic promotion fee. I asked if it was a simple fix. He responded with, “I cannot come out for free.” I said let’s stick with the $39. I then went upstairs, flipped the on/off switch on the gas and then restarted the furnace and it immediately kicked on. The tech was going to charge me $40 to flip a switch. I’m beyond dissatisfied. This is a classic HVAC company trying to scam people out of money. From ridiculous response time to the terrible service, they deserve a 0/10. Do not use this company.

Called at 8am, Chris Sr. Was here by 10:35am. Dispatch called to let me know he was 30 minutes out, they also sent me a link that showed his location so I could watch him come. Upon arrival he was courteous and thorough! I needed him to hit a clogged clean out with a snake, which he did quickly. We tested to verify everything was flowing properly and he was on his way under an hour. Chris Sr. also took the time to explain his observations, and how we can prevent clogs from reoccurring. We will be calling Black Diamond the next time we have issues!

Sal, Jordan, Adrian, and one more gentleman (forgot his name) were awesome! Got a possible day-and-a-half plumbing job done in 4 hours. Sal did the initial diagnosis and did great. Everyone on the phone was really friendly and kept me updated. Good stuff!
