I have had excellent experience with this company in the past. My old A/C unit stopped working. It has been taking its last breath for years. I was advised by the technician that it would be best to replace both the furnace and the A/C unit. He gave me two options that were about the same price, around $14,000, and said it could be installed the next day. He got the air working, and then they came and installed it the new one the next day. There are a couple of places where the work looks maybe a little shoddy, but overall, it looked pretty well done. I didn't have any complaints. They tested the furnace, and it heated my house, then turned on the A/C, and it seemed to be cooling, so they cleaned up and left. Well, my house never cooled. The air ran all night, the A/C unit was going, and the temp refused to drop. Then my friends started chiming in telling me I got way overcharged and reporting prices of $7,000 to $9,000 for their much larger houses. Still, the house wasn't cooling. They have sent another tech out the first thing he tells me is everything is within spec but it's not working so he has to find out what is wrong it might possibly be that my breaker box is too old to handle the new system. The very last thing I want to hear is that I was oversold a system that my house can't handle. All the techs have been nice and professional, yet my house is still hot. He said the settings from the install were incorrect, which caused the unit to pull in air faster than it could cool it and that some of the wiring was wrong, which probably caused the breaker to go off. I have no way of verifying any of this information, but the house does seem a little cooler. I also found that the install team burned part of my vinyl fence with the welding torch. The last tech was great, but it feels like buying a new car that broke down while exiting the lot.

My air conditioning system is not cold when turned on so I called Black Diamond for an appointment. Henry showed up and did some rewiring and done some test to make sure it’s working properly. Unfortunately, my compressor is too old and I need a new unit soon. Henry went inside to take a look at my furnace and gave me some great recommendations. This company trained their technician right, they went the extra mile to make sure their customer is taking care of. Highly recommended!!!

Black Diamond provides excellent service all around. They were at my property *the next day* to install AC in our home. At 8:45am six trucks rolled up like they were the Paw Patrol showing up to save Chickaletta from a tree for Mayor Goodway! It was wild.

This is a two day job, but Max & Corey stayed late to finish the unit for the master bedroom ahead of high temps. Can you put a price on happy wife, happy life? To me it is worth infinity so Max & Corey’s efforts were worth their weight in gold to us. 10/10, would recommend.

Henry arrived for an annual inspection of our HVAC system and was very thorough in performing the analysis. He talked to me in depth about the items he found to be concerning and documented everything into an email for me. We discussed options and possible times that things may happen. Nothing catastrophic going on, but time is not going to be helpful for the system unless we implement some changes to the system. Henry did not give us the impression that this was a sometime that we needed to get done immediately. But that we also would be better off not waiting too long, as we discussed, time is not friendly to an already failing system.
