Update: We just had Taylor and Chris install an endless water heater and they went above and beyond what I expected. It’s a very nice unit and they did a great job installing it.
Rodolfo did a great job checking out our heating and a/c units. Got us ready for summer and answered all of our questions while addressing our main concerns. Just an all around good experience.
Today I had both my air conditioner and tankless water heater serviced by Barlow Service Experts. Mason arrived first and looked at the AC as part of my membership plan. He explained what he reviewed and provided tips on how to keep it clean after we mow the lawn. Darren and Victor arrived shortly after to begin maintenance work on the tankless water heater. They did a great job as well explaining the up front cost as well as the maintenance performed. I've been very happy with Barlow and just wish they had an office in St George so I could use them on the other house.

Rylie was our technician, and she was wonderful. She was clean, professional, and courteous. She did the maintenance on our system, and then reviewed it with me and let me know it was time to replace our expansion tank for our water heater. She even went over options and price with me. Barlow technicians are always very kind and professional, and Rylie was no different. Thank you!
Ty helped me by doing a tuneup on furnace. He was quick and professional also very honest. He helped me save money on parts that did not need replacement. I appreciate how quick it was to get them to come in the same day appointment. I will start using Barlow Service Experts.
We have just had the most horrendous experience at Barlow Heating, Air and Plumbing. Before writing a review, we went into the office to work out our negative experience only to be met with Brad, the manager and was treated with such distain, superiority, and defiance. We had read that it would be good to contact the customer service department for satisfaction so, that is what we did. We had a main water regulator in our home that needed to be repaired. My husband went to a major plumbing supply store and found the regulator to be between $80 - $120. Not being a plumber, my husband decided to call a local plumber thinking we could afford the regulator and labor of about an hour. We called Barlow's to set up the appointment. The technician came 45 mins past the two hour service window, went down and directly replaced the regulator. He also spent another hour to replace the expansion tank over the water heater. The technician complained that he was supposed to be at a play. and was late. it being after 5:30 p.m.. He promptly gave us a bill of over $1300.00 ($950 for the regulator that cost less than $120 and took less than 30 minutes to install). We didn't get an explanation for the bill until they left and then it was an email with no explanation. We paid it reluctantly and went into the office the next day to talk to someone thinking this must be a mistake. To our surprise, my husband met by the manage, Brad. My husband was treated with so much pompousness, curtness, and arrogance that words cannot express the shock we felt. We hope that anyone needing a plumber would use Barlow's cautiously.
Barlow called me asking to schedule a appointment for a heating and air conditioning service. I told them I will not use thier business.
One of their technicians in their company van was changing lanes on the freeway and ran into my car. It was thier drivers fault, the police report came back and he received a citation for failure to yield 41-6a-903.
I gave this information along with a estimate to thier insurance company. However the insurance company has been telling me for over a month that they can't get in touch with the driver, and they refuses to pay the claim untiI they talk to him.
I made multiple attempts to talk to a supervisor or manager at Barlow, in a effort to move this claim forward. They never called me back. I finally got in touch with someone at Barlow, they took my information and said they would call me back that day. They never did. I can't imagine using this business again. They don't return calls or follow up as promised. They don't seem interested in helping me move this claim forward, especially when the police report clearly shows thier driver at fault. I wouldn't trust them or this technician to provide service, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.
Barlow has great service and great service guys! Harry was so knowledgeable while he was here and explained what he was doing and why! He went above and beyond checking everything! He sealed up spots we had in our exhaust from the water heater that were open and showed us why the filters need to be replaced!! Thanks Barlow for having qualified guys who are passionate about their job!!
Ty came out and did the maintenance that hasn't been done since buying our home. He was very professional and knowledge. I'll keep using Barlow for anything I need them for in the future.
