We had them come do an analysis but it turns out our home warranty is covering the “fix” on the unit. They were very understanding and honest with what the issues could be! Taylor was great!
I was honestly surprised they got someone out as quick as they did I need diagnosed the problem and gave us a great tutorial on how to fix it in the future.
We called this business because it's the only one who could come over soon and it was reaching 100°. The tech replaced the capacitor, which needed to be replaced. Then he said we needed a new blower motor and our furnace will only last about another week. Over $1,000. Then he suggested we just get a new system and sent a lady to give us a bid for a new system, which was high! We called Bill's, who we normally use. We found out our blower motor was fine and we didn't need a new furnace! So, this business tried to screw us over! We're senior citizens, maybe they thought we were gullible! Sorry wrong!
UPDATE:. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3, only because they keep reaching out to me. So, they do care what their customers think. Although, I won't be using them again. I don't like spending money until it needs to be spent.
Furnace Diagnostic I was pleased in their ability to send a technician to take a look at the furnace quickly (1 hr after I called). I talked with the technician after his assessment and he suggested to replace the furnace, unless I was willing to sign a release for the company to make repairs. The recommended repair was a $350 switch. Because the furnace is 20+ yrs old it made sense to me at the time to replace the entire unit. Later when I talked with the tenant I learned that their experience was not pleasant. It was reported to me that the technician was rude and acted disgruntled. He ran his ladder into the wall, which my tenant repaired. The furnace diagnoses as explained to my tenant was completely different from what I was told over the phone. So, I called another company and I'm spending more money to get a second opinion. Not ideal but I'm not comfortable with the way the evening conspired and the end result of the diagnosis.
They were awesome!! Stephanie was super helpful, asked me over the phone to check a few things to make sure it wasn’t just a simple fix. JD came out and was so kind! He was there within the window of time quoted and was fast and efficient! We signed up for their annual services because we liked them so much! Will definitely recommend them to all our family and friends!
Landon and Ernesto did a phenomenal job installing ducts and air returns for our basement remodel with very little space with which to work! They were very professional and optimistic, making what looked to be nearly impossible a quality-made reality.
True customer service at it's best! I have worked with many HVAC companies over the years and Mountain Air can't be beat. Since finding them 10+ years ago, they are the only company I will call. Everyone that I have worked with (office personnel, sales, installers, service techs etc.) have been professional, kind and responsive. The techs are always on time, knowledgeable, honest, respectful of my home, and willing to answer all my questions. I cannot recommend them enough!
