Thurgood Plumbing & HVAC

We had our water heater die in 2016 like many celebreties and we contacted Thirgood Plumbing. They were accurate and punctual as well as reliable. Mind you we live in salt lake and they still made the trip out here. Jake was amazing and je completed the job extremely fast. I highly recommend them.

These guys were great to work with. I had a busted sewer main and they were able to come give me a quote and fix it within 48 hours. They are honest and do great work at a reasonable price.

Zach came over same day for a leak problem and got my water softener hooked up correctly and went the extra mile every step of the way. Very impressed with his service and care. I would definitely reccomend these guys.

Jake was very professional and the service we received was A+. They really made a not so pleasant situation easy to deal with. Thank you for your honesty. That really goes a long way these days.

We couldn't find a plumber that was available or with the necessary insurance/bonds to work on our broken water main. Thurgood Plumbing was available and responded... fairly quickly. That's not enough to even give them 2 stars. The issues began when my wife had to coordinate with the company while I was in meetings/school. The office lady (the wife) seemed professional enough, but it seems she was the only one that was. When my wife had to interact with the plumber himself he was rude and very condescending. I was told that the issue would be resolved by Saturday by him. When my wife called to get some clarification on the situation she attempted to verify that the water would be turned back on the following Saturday. His response was something like this, "Why would I ever have said that the problem would be fixed that soon? I'm going to be gone and I will not be working on Friday." This was only one of many customer service issues... However, there was more. They dug up the entire lawn and had to run a new line. Ok, great. 2000 dollars more (or so) at least it's done and we're back in business. However, I have to find out from the renters that the plumber had left MOUNDS of dirt all over the front lawn, panels from the floating ceiling strewn allover the basement floor, dirt from shoes tracked throughout the house, the new water main shut off in the most conspicuous location possible in the finished basement sticking out of the wall 2-3 inches making a normal access panel impossible to put in place. With the location of the new shutoff they simply left a gaping hole in the wall... oh and where the old water supply had been...? They put a SharkBite cap on it, but they didn't seat it correctly... turns out it has been leaking water throughout the basement... and remember, we had to find out ALL of this from the renters that we had in the house at the time... Needless to say... we're displeased and will NOT be using/referring them for future work. To be honest with how confrontational the plumber was, I've delayed writing a review... but with the sale of the rental he worked on in process, I feel like I'm finally safe to do so.

The representative was on time. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. Very helpful.

Anyone who drives like that in a canyon shouldn’t be responsible for any major construction project maybe plunging a toilet! He’s not only going to kill himself but he’s going to kill someone else driving recklessly like he does!
