I have nothing good to say about ARS. I thought Home Depot would send me in the right direction, but obviously I was wrong.
1 - Most of the time I schedule an appointment, they never show up, don't notify me in any means, and don't call to reschedule. Very unprofessional and don't care about your time.
2 - When they do come finally, all they do is push a new sale. For example, we called for an issue with the installed thermostat and the guy the entire time was trying to sell a surge protector (so the system doesn't fry). So it makes me realize even more how much I was ripped off during the sale of my a/c unit.
3 - I have a one year warranty, which at this point I don't know what it is good for. The thermostat issue they tried to charge me, and when I called for a tune up. They don't seem to ever know I have a warranty until I keep pushing it.
4 - They overcharge and take advantage of their customers, especially vulnerable ones. DO NOT TRUST that they have your best interest at heart. They tell you that you need actually unneeded things, just to increase their sales, profits, and commissions. It appears they live off sales/commissions. For sure, if you're being told you need a new HVAC system, or even larger parts to the system, I recommend going elsewhere for recommendations, price quotes, and hell the service too.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME BY CHOOSING ANOTHER BUSINESS!!

Juan, Jesus and ( I can’t recall the third technician’s name but starts with a J I think) were absolutely awesome!! Juan went the extra mile to make sure i was able to have my water heater installed on a Saturday. They arrived when they said they would and took care of business. I would recommend their services without hesitation!

Giving a 3 star purely on the polite customer service we received over the phone and by the technician...we received an estimate on work to change out the kitchen sink and faucet (2 compartment sink to a single both drop in) we purchased prior. The price had 4 digits on this side of the decimal 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️I remember using ARS many 10yrs ago on an AC unit issue. Well let's just say I'll be getting a second opinion 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

The attendant was very professional and friendly. He diagnose the issue and told me the charges upfront, and then proceeded to fix it. Even cleaned up everything afterwards, including spilled water. Very satisfied and I would recommend John to anyone.

Decided to replace our entire heating and cooling system which was around 30 years old. We received a few quotes and decided on ARS/Rescue Rooter, partially because I wanted to stay with a product brand that served our home for many years. Jon our advisor was cordial, appeared to be very knowledgeable and gave us a variety of options. Once we made our decision on the products for a complete system, he helped us apply for financing that was fast, reasonable and affordable. The work crew showed up early the next morning and didn’t stop working until the work was completed putting in one long day. They were very professional, and did a fine job.
From the experience I received, I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

I would like to share my experience with ARS on 7/3/2023. Well, prior to this date, I had a technician that came to my home to take out my garbage disposal and replace it with a new one that I purchased. After a few days the disposal would not come on, so I called ARS and the same technician came out and told me it would cost me an additional $765.00 for him to install the garbage disposal. Not to mention I over paid by paying $400.00, previously. I find this very appalling the way ARS does their business. To charge this amount for a garbage disposal, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!

Technician was professional, courteous. He diagnosed the problem, recommend solutions and since the problem wasn't the A/C unit offered to schedule a plumber to make the repair. Technician was very helpful. We have used ARS several times and I am always impressed.
