Jacob came out at 8:30 PM to check water heater not working. Professional and knowledgeable, great attitude. Found heater element failure and replaced element. I highly recommend Jacob Perez with Lightfoot Mechanical, great customer service.

Kevin was incredible! He not only looked out for us in helping to pick out the best products for our needs and budget, he returned the bathroom to sparkling condition - and even offered my husband some great fishing tips. Thank you, Lightfoot!

Justin is a very polite, respectful & highly informative on AC/HAV systems, no up sales just direct as to problems, low-high as to fix! I applaud him, think about crawling up into an attic with 100+ heat/humidity as we are having! Good upstanding young man! Thank you Lightfoot!

The team was very responsive. I was notified when the tech was on his way as well as when glue got to my house. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Avery called me to explain what was going on as well as what my options were for repair. Will use them again.

I recently had an encounter with Lightfoot Mechanical regarding my older AC unit, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While I appreciated the courteous and professional demeanor of the staff I interacted with, their failure to address my original concern and their pushy sales tactics have led me to give them a two-star rating.

Initially, I noticed water leaking from my AC unit, which was a cause for concern due to potential damage to my home and foundation. Seeing Lightfoot Mechanical's sticker on the unit, I decided to give them a call. Sierra, the representative I spoke to initially, was friendly and professional. However, it was surprising to hear that they had never serviced my address before, despite their sticker being on my unit.

Sierra informed me that their service call fee was $85, but she also presented me with the option of becoming a priority member for $150, which included two annual tune-ups and a 15% discount on parts. Intrigued by the potential benefits, I opted for the membership and scheduled a service appointment for the following day.

Two technicians arrived promptly, and they appeared professional as well. However, during their inspection, I noticed that no tools or actual labor were being utilized. After approximately 20 minutes, the main technician approached me with the disappointing news that he would not recommend investing any money into my unit. He claimed that everything was running at maximum capacity and fixing the unit would cost a minimum of $3000 or more. I was not provided with the full range of options that the company allegedly offers, and the technician advised me to consult with a project manager instead.

Meanwhile, my original concern regarding the water leakage remained unaddressed. The technicians did nothing to rectify the issue or mitigate the potential damage. It wasn't until I took matters into my own hands, changed the filter, and used a shop vac to clear a clog in the line that I managed to resolve the problem myself within seconds.

In the following weeks, I received incessant calls and texts from Lightfoot Mechanical, attempting to schedule a meeting with a project manager. Feeling suspicious about their intentions, I decided to postpone scheduling any further appointments. It became apparent that their primary focus was selling me expensive solutions, rather than addressing my initial concern and earning my trust.

Today, when I called to cancel my membership, I was informed that a manager would need to call me back for the cancellation process. This unnecessary delay further exemplifies their poor business practices.

While I acknowledge the courteous and kind behavior of the individuals I dealt with, it does not excuse the fact that my original concern was ignored, and no action was taken to resolve it. Instead, Lightfoot Mechanical seemed solely focused on sales and pushing for membership and unit replacement. This approach does not align with my expectations of honest and customer-centric service.

In conclusion, Lightfoot Mechanical may have certain perks and be a large company, but their flaws and poor business practices overshadow these aspects. I believe in treating people honestly and doing what is right for both customers and businesses. Unfortunately, Lightfoot Mechanical fell short in this regard. Regrettably, our relationship ends here, as they were unable to earn my trust by delivering the service I required.

I told them I wanted a Daikin mini split with 3 ceiling cassettes and we agreed to a price and date. They kept me informed, arrived on time, and got the job done. We're very pleased and the A/C works great. I would recommend Lightfoot Mechanical to anyone.

I had Lightfoot come take a look at my A/C that is only 4 years old and was told by the technician that the coil on the internal unit had a leak and was bad and would need to be replaced. The cheapest option I was given was $5300 and with several more upgrade options ranging up to $9100. I was astonished by this pricing and told him I was going to wait and seek a 2nd opinion. So I sought recommendations from close friends and found a small business owned by a hard working man in Fort Worth. He came out at no charge which was refreshing since I had already spent $90 on having Lightfoot come out. We looked over everything after I explained to him what the Lightfoot technician had told me and we ended up finding a semi loose brass union fitting on the internal coil. We then performed a 72 hour isolation test to check for further leaks and found nothing. After we were satisfied that there were no leaks then he recharged the system with $900 worth of freon because my system was extremely low. He replaced faulty internal and external pans and after everything was fixed I only owed him $1200.
*He also informed me that even if the internal coil did need to be replaced then it was under warranty but the Lightfoot technician never mentioned this. In fact he told me that the coil replacement would cost $1100. This is much worse than just a bad job, this quote/estimate is borderline criminal and this company should at the very least be avoided.

Had a full system inspection and want to give a HUGE shout out to Jacob. He was on time, professional, thorough but above all HONEST! I can't say enough good things. This young man went a above an beyond to explain everything and make sure I had enough knowledge to make the best choice. Well done Jacob, well done!
