Emergency AC of Houston

This was a perfect customer service experience. From the initial contact I made with Ron Dixon to completion of works, all of it was done exactly as promised. I got 5 quotes from various service providers around Houston and am happy to share that the costs were also market competitive. For those who have typically loved the big-name players that advertise a fair bit, be aware that their prices can border on ridiculous for the the same scope. Average costs for installation of complete AC units can be easily researched on the internet so you can have a good idea on price going into the work. Besides the professional and friendly manner of everyone I engaged with, what was most pleasing was a willingness to own the work. Ron came with the install crew to start the job and stayed long enough to ensure that all the equipment needed to complete the work was on hand. He came back after the job was done to ensure that all of the scope that he sold was completed. He even told me that he expected to be the first one I contacted if there were any issues with the installation. Well done Ron! Well done Gregg Air! You guys have an winning culture!

This is the first time I've used this company, they were 30 minutes early for the scheduled appointment and called ahead of time to confirm. The gentleman were both very nice and explained the issue well. They represented the company well.

They showed exactly when they said they would, we’re very courteous and went right to work. Finished the whole job in 4 1/2 hours. Very professional and thorough.

They installed a complete new a/c system. It was done promptly but my couch got mildew which had never happened before. Hugo tweaked the air handler fan and it's okay now!

This was the best experience with a/c company I've had.
Very quick response with replacing unit.

Our a/c went out the night before. We called around everyone was 2 days out on service at start of summer as expected. Called Greg Air and he squeezed me in to his schedule very competitive on price same day and gentleman that came out fixed me up. Thanks guys

Their technician Hugo V. arrived earlier than the appointed time and was very informative of what was previously done by another company and work had to get me the replacement part that will be ready for install next business day. Desiree had already been informed of my brothers special condition and they all are going above and beyond to give great service! Keep up the great work! Highly recommend this company.

My AC decided to give up about the end of April or first of May 2022. The search begin to find a company to repair but everyone stated replace and the prices they wanted was a small fortune. Royal Air is listed as several different companies and each time someone came out the quote was different (higher). I was even quote $6k for just the compressor. When they would come out and see that I was a woman, I believe dollar signs begin to churn inside their heads and perhaps thought they can tell me just about anything and I would buy. It is sad companies do that, apparently they forgot this is not the 1800's women today are far more knowledgeable today.

I had just about given up when I recieved a phone call from Mr. Todd. I have to admit I was ready to place him and the company in the pile with all the rest of the crooksters.

He came out took a look and said "Replace" and I immediately went into defense mode. I do not have $18k to replace this. Mr. Todd said it would not cost nearly that much. Also everyone that had come out before told me I needed duct work as well. Mr. Todd stated my ducts were fine.
He told me the original system was too small for the square footage of the house and a 5 ton would be better suited for the house. All I was thinking was dollars and cents. He walked me through the process, provided me with a quote which included inside and outside, labor and freon for under $9k. This was a brand new Lennox 5 ton system.

He gave me several options for financing and within minutes I was approved and the service was schedule for the very next day.
I am so grateful these guys called me and I actually listed.
Mr. Todd contacted me the day of the installation to make sure every thing was going well, I saw the supervisor come out several times during the install to make sure every thing progressed as planned, and after the job was finished, I was contacted by the owner of the company to make sure I was satisfied.

The workers arrived within the allotted time slot, they were very professional, and I hardly knew they were in and out the house. They took the time to cover the floors and stairs before they begin the work. I knew it was beyond hot in the attic but not once did they complain. I made sure they had cold water to drink through out the process. They took their time and made sure it was done right. No rushing to get to the next job.
One thing I forgot to mention, Mr. Todd took his time and explained how the parts worked together and answered any questions that I had. He made me feel comfortable and not pressured into making any decisons.

My experience with this company is one for the record books. it is my prayer I do not have to do this no time soon, but if by chance you need AC work, please do not hesistate to give them a call.
